Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Dallas

I come to this location to buy packaged ice cream and milk 3-4 times a week. Most of the staff now recognize me on sight, and all have always been very friendly. But tonight, I experienced something first-hand that you don't see very often these days. And it's not like I'm a little old lady, I'm only 40-something. But due to a recent injury, I'm walking with crutches. I didn't think about the awkwardness of getting my ice cream from cooler to register, I just went to get my usual purchase. The young gentleman working the package register saw my situation, and ran to help me. He ran. He took my ice cream, rang it up, and I asked if he could put the two containers in separate bags so I could carry one on each crutch. He said no. He then held the door for me and walked me to my car, and even held the car door for me until I was all the way in. Once home, I called the store to ask his name. Isreal. I then told her what he did for me, and how rare and amazing this young gentleman is. Now I'm telling all of Google. So to Isreal, thank you for being a gentleman!!! The food was decent but the drive thru service was terrible. Alot of high school kids working , which is fine, that's not the problem. Just train them to have a little more common sense that when you ask a customer to pull over and that the rest of their order will be brought out to them You don't give them an ice cream order while they wait for you to finish the rest of the order That it is done and packaged clean and lid is CLOSED on the cointainer (Mine had fudge all over the container, bag and spoons) That they don't take forever to bring out the remaining order .

I had to walk out of my vehicle and go inside to ask them to remake it. It was already melting and leaking and the bag was a mess from the fudge that dripped out when they didn't seal the lid of the container . If I wanted to be serviced inside, i wouldn't have gone through the drive thru.

Came in to gather myself after finding out bad news about my grandmother I sat down at a table crying and a worker kept asking me did I need help as it was obvious I didn’t at the moment I was trying to calm down. A woman came up to me and asked me was I there for an interview I told her no -in the middle of me sobbing. I told her I just needed a minute was it okay for me to sit there she said sure I was just asking. A minute later another woman comes and tell me I have to leave I can’t just sit inside the restaurant. The didn’t have any idea if I was going to eat or not they just kept harassing me until the moment they told me to leave so I gathered my things and stood outside crying about my sick grandmother waiting on my ride. The customer service was horrible they didn’t even give me a chance to gather myself and order something I would never go back to...
