Whenever I go to Cindi's Deli in Richardson, I am consistently delighted, and give it a 5 out of 5 stars every time!. Although extremely popular, I consider it somewhat of a hidden gem and it has never failed to impress me.

Cindi's Deli boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. With its cozy and NY-inspired decor, it's the perfect place for a hearty meal or a casual gathering with friends.

The service at Cindi's Deli is always great, even when they are very busy. The staff is always attentive, friendly, and will get you seated quickly.

As far as the food, the quality and variety of meats, desserts, and entrees are nothing short of amazing. Without a doubt, my favorite dish here is the NY Reuben. The combination of perfectly tender corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on grilled rye bread is a flavor explosion that I can't get enough of.

I also enjoy the bacon grilled cheese, pancakes, omelettes, and their bagels are fantastic. As you can tell I lean toward breakfast foods most of the time. But their menu is so vast, it will take some time for me to try all the great dishes they have to offer!

In all my visits to Cindi's Deli, I always leave fully satisfied. The combination of fantastic food, outstanding service, and a cozy ambiance creates a dining experience that's truly exceptional.

We have been coming to this place for over 20 years and generally the food is very good and the service is excellent. However, today we ordered corned beef and cabbage and open corned beef with knish. The knish was meat. we ordered potato, it was exchanged. My corned beef was very lean however my partner's was fatty so I gave him some of my lean corned beef. When I got the check, I noticed that Maria had written pastrami instead of corned beef on the check. We ordered corned beef. I brought this to the attention of the manager who was adamant that we should have told them prior to eating the meal. I explained that we only noticed that it was pastrami when we got the check. We had a lot left over and I offered to give it back to the cashier who insisted that it was in the computer and we could not return it. How could I have known that it was pastrami instead of fatty corned beef? It never crossed my mind that she got the order wrong. I am disappointed with the lack of understanding and concern by the staff member who checked us out. The lack of customer focus was disappointing. She said that since we always go there, we should know that we should tell them immediately when something is not right. As I said, only when we got the check did we realize that the order was wrong. I cannot believe what happened to us today. Me and my wife is on vacation we are in African American couple we came to the restaurant and had a meal we paid for our food with the server we then went outside and got to the curve and the owner came running out then asked if we paid for our food I then said are you kidding me all these people walking out of the door you didn't stop anybody else but us. We were the only African-American couple in the restaurant and we were the only people that got stopped going out the restaurant she should have asked the server first if we paid. we gave no indications of not paying. I've been told her that she was wrong for what she's doing we are the only people that she stopped I then opened up my wallet and showed her and told her we are not poor people and we do not steal I showed her all my credit cards and amount of money I had in my wallet which I did not have to do but to prove to her that you just don't profile people. She then went back inside and found out we did pay came back and tried to apologize because some other people were talking to us about the situation but it was too late then.
