Hello Heather and Lawrence, this is Frankie and Camille from Frisco Tx. It was a rainy Mothers Day this past weekend and we didnt make any formal plans due to the harsh weather conditions. All of a sudden my wife says..do you know there is a Catch location on Coit and Campbell...and immediately we loaded oir vehicle and made our way. Upon our arrival we were met by Heather who serves as Lead Manager. Let me say this, we are glad to had visited the location. Heather provided world class service...the 2 fish 4 shrimp platters along with a cup of gumbo was sensational..and get this Heather stated that her best cook would be available on this coming Thursday...and we replied SAY WHAAAT. Overall, I do trust Lawrence that you read this review for we were so pleased with having a memorable experience. Lastly, thank you Heather for creating such an experience for my wife and I...although between us we could have spent $100.00 easily. Your graciousness and kindness is well appreciated. My suggestion to anyone reading is this...dont go to heaven until you visit The Catch on Coit...

We had such a great first visit to The Catch!

I ordered the fried catfish basket with fries and hushpuppies, and it did not disappoint. I asked for the catfish extra crispy, and it was perfect—well-seasoned, crunchy, and flavorful. The fries were fresh and seasoned just right, the hushpuppy was delicious, and both the tartar sauce and hot sauce paired perfectly. For me, the basket was a solid 10/10.

My husband tried the French Quarter plate. He thought the catfish was fresh and seasoned well, but said the shrimp and étouffée were just okay. He rated his meal a 7/10 overall.

From the moment we walked in, the service stood out. We were greeted right away, the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated, and toward the end of our meal, the lady at the front surprised us with free daiquiris—sweet but tasty! The manager also checked in to make sure everything was great, which we appreciated.

I can’t wait to come back and try more items on the menu. For me, it’s a 10/10, and for my husband, an...

I should have taken pictures but it all looked so incredible we just dove right in. This place is a MUST visit. It’s so delicious and incredible. We got the fried pickles which were perfectly crisp and yummy. Ranch was fantastic. That’s always a critical for me. I got the snow crab (the house mix) and it was mind blowing. Ridiculously delicious juice for that crab. I got medium heat but I definitely could have gone higher. I like a little kick but even for people who aren’t big on spicy you would love this sauce on mild. My friend got the fried catfish and she said it was the best she’s ever had. The batter was phenomenal and crispy. Absolutely perfect. House fries were a home run. We will definitely be back it was that good. This is an order at the counter kind of place which usually isn’t my forte but everything was awesome. Staff was super friendly too and it was a cute little space. Not a ton of seating but the...

This was our first time here and we really enjoyed everything we got. The catfish was my favorite - it was well seasoned, breaded, and fried, and it was a substantial filet. We got medium full house seasoning on the crawfish, and it was so good! The crawfish were not only huge but super fresh, and were clearly expertly prepared. We ordered the jumbo (cup) as well, this had good flavor but not my favorite out of everything we ordered. This is true New Orleans style Cajun cuisine, and so glad we have one close to us. The service was really good, and we got good recommendations. The ambiance is fast casual, and it’s a cute little spot. They could use some TVs playing sports or something. They offer takeout, and we noticed a lot more takeout orders than ppl eating in. Overall, I would definitely come back and try other dishes on the menu like the fried chicken and beignets. This is worth the drive for good Cajun food!

So so happy to have this place in the neighborhood! I was craving a shrimp po-boy and this hit the spot! It’s an order at the counter. They have salads, tacos, po-boys, mixed plates, and boils, along with some apps and desserts. No liquor license yet but hopefully soon. They have a soda fountain and sweet and unsweetened tea (brewed thankfully). Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. We both went with a shrimp po-boy, one blackened and one fried. It comes with fries or you can sub other items (I went with the red beans & rice). You also get two crispy, hot hush puppies (or garlic bread). The sandwiches are good sized and loaded with shrimp. The bread was the perfect mix of crusty on the outside and soft inside. The side were tasty as well. The cocktail sauce and tartar sauce were both solid. I’ll definitely be back to try more items. Welcome to the neighborhood The Catch!!
