El Calentano — Restaurant in Dallas

Great little place for Mexican food. I got the Coctel de Camarone (shrimp cocktail) and it was loaded with shrimp and avocado. My dinner companion got the Camarones a la Mexicana. While it was delicious, there were only 6 Jumbo shrimp. The rice was cooked perfectly. The refried beans were okay. The waitress was friendly but you need to know a little Spanish to order. I have went there in the past their tamales are good and reasonable But Here recently I have found a hair and a couple of my tamales...

So if the owner reads this review, make sure your employees have a hair net on while cooking nobody wants to be eating hair in their food...

But other than that I have had no other problems till...

Beans were watered down. The breakfast potatoes were cut like fries just lazy. The coffee was cheap and watered down the tortillas were not cooked right they serve small portions on plastic plate. No pepper. The salsa was good doe. And they charged 18.92 total for 2 huevos rancheros plates...
