Golden Chick — Restaurant in Dallas

This was my first time at this location and when I arrived my order was not prepared at the time for pick up. I had ordered online. The manager immediately got upset with the employees. I was patient didn't fuss and waited for my order again. I would have thought maybe the manager would have given me a complementary drink. I had paid for $40 something for my meal and had too wait twice. I paid for my drink didn't fuss. But the biggest disappointment when I got home was the food one the Cole slaw was bland had No Taste I thought I had lost my taste buds. 😂 The white gravy that it comes with the chicken strips was runny no thickness too it. Nothing like the Golden Chicken on kiest. The spicy chicken strips was good but over spicy. I was okay with it but someone that's not okay with over spicy you better put a warning label. The place is new clean and presentable. The staff are super nice but it's disappointing to see a manager get upset with their employees. Don't do that in front of paying customers. I dislike that. As far as the food the manager should taste the food to make sure it's too it's standards its not employees fault. Please help your employees make sure the spicy chicken strips are not over spicy, Cole slaw is not bland and the gravy is not runny. To the manager economy is bad and us customers pay a pretty high penny for this food. Your customer service is great but your the head of this place. If you were my customer and I made you wait twice for your order I would have given you a complimentary drink or something for having to wait twice. Show customer you care and don't show us by getting upset with your employees. So disappointed, Sorry I will Not be coming back to spend my pretty penny at your location.Hope you do better for...

I recently had a wonderful experience at Golden Chick thanks to the exceptional service provided by the manager, Ariel. My son is autistic, and dining out can often be a daunting experience due to his difficulty with ordering and decision-making. It had been an especially difficult day with him, and I was already dreading having to order even before I entered. However, Ariel went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable during our visit.

Despite my son changing his mind multiple times and taking a bit longer than usual to decide, this worker remained patient and understanding throughout the entire process. He not only took the time to listen to our needs but also ensured that our dining experience was as smooth as possible. His empathy and professionalism truly made a difference for us that day.

I appreciate how Ariel didn't rush us and instead offered support and kindness. It's rare to encounter such genuine care in customer service these days, and I am grateful for his exceptional service. Golden Chick should be proud to have someone like Ariel on their team, making customers feel valued and respected. Drive thru……I asked for a 10 piece leg and high meal with 2 family sides and 4 rolls. I was informed that there was only nine pieces of chicken. So I was like that’s OK. Let me go ahead and take the nine piece and was informed it didn’t come with rules or sides so I ordered the nine piece and then ordered my two family sides separately and because they said it would not come with rolls I ordered four rolls. I paid $40. I paid more money for less food,. This was almost 2 hours before closing anyways I got home. The two family sides were fine however there was eight rolls in there which means when they told me that it didn’t come with new rolls it actually did so they made me pay an extra three rolls and now the worst part is my nine piece, chicken legs, and thighs was 7 thighs and 2 very very tiny legs wing size tiny. Like they ran out of regular size legs and used the small wing size legs, and then to make it all even worse. It was so dry. The chicken was so dry and so hard.
