Goldie’s wasn’t just exquisite—it was restorative.
I went solo, not out of necessity but intention. I wanted to savor something quietly beautiful, and Goldie’s delivered in every way. The food was a symphony of warmth and precision: flavors that lingered, textures that comforted, and plating that whispered elegance without shouting. I took my time, letting each bite remind me that solitude can be a celebration.
From the moment I stepped in, the host greeted me with a kind smile and said, “We’re so glad you’re here. Some nights are meant for just you and the food.” It wasn’t just a welcome—it was permission to be fully present.
My server was phenomenal. Respectful, intuitive, and genuinely uplifting. They didn’t just take my order—they guided me through it, offering suggestions that felt tailored to my mood. Every recommendation hit the mark, and their presence made me feel cared for without ever hovering.
And the rest of the team? They moved like a quiet orchestra—refilling water before I even noticed it was low, checking in with subtle grace. It was hospitality at its finest: unobtrusive, thoughtful, and deeply human.
Goldie’s reminded me that dining alone isn’t lonely—it’s a chance to reconnect with yourself, especially when the people around you treat your presence...
Read moreFun neighborhood spot! Very intimate main room, side room as well with cool red velvet booths. Only 8 barstools so don’t count on grabbing a drink here.
Got Bab’s Bicicletta, interesting take on an aperol spritz! Skinniest glass ever. (Apps between $15-26, entres between $19-36, great wine list $52-100/bottle.) My bartender Stacy was delightful and recommended the Magic Chicken Thighs, amazing!! Just a kick of spice, it was so full of flavor. Serving size was incredible for the price. The mashed yams almost stole the show. it. Sweet, spicy, wow! 11/10 Dessert is the host’s own cake which won 2nd place at the state fair, however, I didn’t enjoy it unfortunately.
The host Christopher seems to have personal relationships with many regulars, very hospitable and warm. They were fully covered on a Saturday night and didn’t squeeze in walk ins that would mess with reservations which I always appreciate.
Something is disorganized with the host stand. Single host was frequently not there and then multiple other people would greet guests but not attend them. I sat at bar ungreeted for a while as well.
Lots of beef tallow/kefir on the menu, gonna have to go back and try those fries! Overall, excited we have something with this upscale tone in...
Read moreYou’re not going to believe me when I say this but GOLDIE’S CAN’T MISS! This place is so unreal and savory, I’m going back a second time to prove myself wrong. Parking was easy. We were seated immediately. The place looks amazing inside and out. I wish I had photos of the inside, which I’ll get soon, but this place had me mesmerized! From the tasty Tuna Tataki that I wish I could have 5 plates of. To the tasty crab and shrimp appetizer that came out cold and fresh. To the full of spiced up saltines. The Henderson Classic was dangerously refreshing. Now this will shock you but the Espresso Martini competes as THE BEST in Dallas. The Burger itself is savory as it competes with the best burger in Dallas now. Which D Magazine will tell who that is. The Magic Chicken Thighs turned me into a magician as those were eaten without a trace left behind. There was something even more magical about those mashed potatoes which they won’t tell me the trick. Lol. I will be back sooner than later. I’m definitely telling everyone about this...
