Walked in bc we love phillys. We were not greeted at all! I wasn't sure if they could talk. The young guy cleaning the tables did not say anything, no hello, no how are you doing?...nothing. The older man behind the counter cooking the food, I'm assuming he's the owner/father of the young guy. He looked up, nodded his head, and kept cooking. Now it's time to place the order, omg! No customer service! No communication skills and no people skills! Please work on that. Food: dry! The meat ratio to the thickness of the bread was good. The bread was toasted or buttered, but it was dry. The steak meat was not seasoned and had no moisture to it. Add oil to meat so it gives some moisture. Then the cheese. Ample amount of cheese to ratio, but as soon as the cheese comes off the grill, it starts to dry up = a dry sandwich. Fries, no seasoning! I wouldn't say it was a waste of $16, but for us, it's definitely not a return visit ever! Exiting the building, no words saying thank you for coming in. How was the food? Did you like it? To wrap things up, we were not pleased with food nor customer service. With AI taking over, people/restaurants/businesses and so forth need to be grateful and welcome everyone who enters their building. Places are closing and are fighting to stay afloat. Work on your customer service! Ive said it before, and I'll say it again, "You can have horrible food, but if your customer service is above and beyond, people will come back!". We didn't feel like you appreciated us being in your restaurant, so we'll go somewhere else. Happy eating and have a good day.

An excellent cheese steak! If you've never been, JCs basically just serves cheesesteaks and home made chips (they call them fries). The cheesesteaks come in varying configurations (cheese, onions, peppers, etc) centered around chopped steak on a sub roll. That's the whole menu, so if you want something else, this isn't the place. The chopped steak seems like great quality - well cooked, good texture and flavor. The bread is excellent as well. It's a legit philly experience in North Carrollton! Very satisfied and looking forward to going again. If I had one complaint, it's minor. It would be nice if they wrapped the cheesesteak just in paper rather than foil for to go orders. The foil does keep heat in, but also softens the bread. Not to the point of being soggy, but paper wrapping might keep the bread better. This is so minor though - everyone was very happy with their meals.

My experience at JC’s was wonderful. When I got there I placed my order and went straight to the bathroom. At first, I could not find the light-switch, but once I did, I was able to really get a good look at what they’d done with the space. The bathroom had grey painted walls and a beautiful brown laminate floor. The handle on the door to the bathroom had clearly been upgraded. It felt as though you were entering your own home water closet. Although this was a spacious bathroom. It was a private, single use room; much cleaner than you would expect a restroom like that to be. The faucet on the sink had been upgraded to a more modern look as well. They had scented soap on the sink, which had a wonderful, ambrosial scent. The paper towel dispenser was fun and consistent. The Philly was pretty good. 5/5 Would return.

I am breaking a rule of mine by doing this review —would prefer to get paid decently for my survey/information, and I would rather simply not go back to a business that gives less than mediocre food, products, or services. But we all know some rules are made to be broken... The mushroom Philly cheesesteak was beyond bland, dry, and without a single mushroom. The extra provolone was chunked on one part of the sandwich. The so called ‘steak-meat’ is beyond HIGHLY questionable. I haven’t the slightest clue what type of meat that was -this comes from a very greedy young lady who loves the taste of food. The ‘home fries’ weren’t smothered in onions nor cut into their normal cute cube-shapes. Instead, they were potato chips -and Lays taste so much better X’s 100. I literally put mayo on the sandwich and attempted to sprinkle some season on it to doll it up, but that non-steak tasting meat did me in and I threw away 3/4 of the sandwich and let my neighbor’s son eat the so called home-fries. CHIPS... I ended up making a bologna sandwich for dinner. The high reviews is why I tried this place, but I am sitting here like how in the Star Wars did they get four-point-six stars, and what a waste of my time, stress, and hard earned money. Too, I am still trying to figure out what type of meat was on that ‘supposedly’ Philly cheesesteak? I will not ever go back, but well wishes to all of you who are bold enough to go...

Most times my food is on point and delicious. Hence that's the reason I always order from them. I ordered a Cobb salad and since I don't eat dairy or beef I asked for it to be chicken. Any other time I order this they get it right rather it be take out or seamless delivery. Lastnight for the first time they got it wrong. He didn't put eggs on my salad which I lile my salad to be correct so I will enjoy it and plus I'm spending my money on it. I called JC and I guess I spoke to the manager and he had the nerve to tell me that they go out of their way to put chicken on my salad and my order is complicated. It was never complicated before and going out of your way is what customer service is about. He was very snippy which I did not appreciate. Then I asked for a discount and he said if I order through delivery he can't give a discount how else will I order if I work and jC doesnt deliver themselves. Seems like he would accommodate me since I have faithfully ordered this same order more then 20times. It takes nothing to be a kind manager and take care of your customer. I won't be ordering here anymore i will take my complications elsewhere were they show more respect when they mess...
