The service is average with the employees being bilingual and quick to take your service with a very neutral face. The items offered are typical staples of Mexican taquerias like tacos and gorditas, etc. the quality of the food is something else, the meats were dry not very flavorful unless you added the condiments that came with the orders like salsas and onions and even lettuce made a difference. The gorditas didn’t have beans or cheese and the size of them was far too small to be charging 2.95 each. Honestly it felt disrespectful to Mexican/Mexican-American cuisine. This place does a real dishonor to the name of Mexican food and in Texas of all places. When in Dallas, stick to BBQ maybe. Houston has a thousand better taquerias than this place.
On a side note, they forgot half of our $70 order so driving back to our hotel that was 40 minutes away and realizing that was highly annoying. We should have checked our order as well, but they were so confident that they had everything in our bags that we didn’t think twice. We had written the order on both sides of the check and the people placing it for us were aware of that and even read it out loud for the cooks and the people packaging our meal. They also are not open 24 hours. They closed down at 11 pm. Waste of time for mediocre tacos. Positive note is that they do take cards with...
Read moreThis was the worst experience I've had at this location. Wow!!! I'm not sure if they're using different recipes or what but this food isn't worth the money they charge. You can get better tacos for less money at better places. Don't get me wrong, I only came here because I came here years ago the food didn't suck. This time we ordered the fajita tacos with corn tortillas and a fajita gordita. The lemons, limes or whatever had a hard time distinguishing them since they were both dry and bitter. Seriously, even the meat was dry and tasted really bitter. The tortillas were most likely cooked and recooked. If they were fresh cooked then that's a sad state of affairs. I actually had the choice of going to what was probably a better place with better food than this but we wasted our money. I would've suggested we ask for the money back but then ppl think you're just trying to get something for free. Hey Retailers???!!!! Just a thought, maybe some of us just want what we pay for, nothing more and nothing less. Not everyone's looking to get over. However, we would've been justified in asking for a refund in this case. I hate to say it but I'll never go back. Que...
Read moreI had always seen a consistent small line of people when at Elotes Gonzalez across the street and there is no way anyone is a repeat customer.
The worst tacos ever. Asked for fajitas and I don't what the hell we got but it definitely was not fajita. The tortillas were greasy and dry/hard at the same time. Hardly any cilantro and the onions were mush. Just disgusting. The rice was horrible. A ton of hard pieces. The horchata tasted like powder from a bag. Will never be back and definitely will be telling everyone I know not to waste their money here. $40 for 10 skimpy tacos, small side of rice, and 1 horchata. You can go to TACOS OASIS for cheaper, fatter, and amazing quality tacos! Hell, this place is just so absolutely horrible that I am so sure you can try anywhere else than here, and it will be better. You will be wasting...
