A great pocket park in the Kessler Plaza neighborhood. The city recently installed a bike repair station, new bike racks, new landscaping, and cleaned up the area. They posted a sign with the park ranger’s information in case there is an issue with the park. There is a dog waste pickup station and water fountains, and no dog waste problems. Playground equipment is in great shape. The park could use an emergency button somewhere, and more trash receptacles on the south and east ends of the park. It would be cool if there was a fenced-in section for dogs to be off-leash. I think more trees are needed along the west-side sidewalks because the afternoon sun in the summer is brutal. The walking trail that connects the park to the rest of the neighborhood also extends all the way past Stevens park golf course, up to Colorado Ave and beyond. Everyone at the park is always nice and the kids love to play with each other. I know they also have community events here like movies on the lawn.
