My wife and I had just moved to the area and were in search of a good mexican place so we didn't have to drive to Dallas just to get our fix. Never expected a travsety such as this.
One star because the sweet tea was good. Other than that, I was highly disappointed. My wife had ordered a steak, (which I always find weird anyways going to a mexican restaurant), and it was cooked terribly. Her side salad was in early stage of oxidizing. Lettuce was limp and mushy, and the ranch was saltier than the dead sea. The "salsa" was a flavorless cold vegetable soup. The queso was bland, like lactose infused cardboard juice. I had the parrillada. The meat was dried out and the guacamole tasted pre-packed. The grilled onions and peppers were cooked to a goopy consistency. The whole time we were there we saw our waitress three times. When she first took our drinks, when we ordered our food, and when we were brought our food. No staff was on the floor our entire visit, and if they were, they just walked by and didn't acknowledge our empty drinks. Our check was brought to us halfway through our meal. Why the rush? There were 3 others in the restaurant, not like it was busy. No clue how this place...
Read moreSo my friends and I came here for breakfast. We got our meals after around an hour. Meanwhile, there were people who had shown up after us and got served before us. Our waitress had an issue bringing me the meal that I ordered from the menu. My meal came with toast, and potatoes. I asked my waitress if she can add beans to my meal. She replaced my potatoes with beans. When she brought the plate I brought it to her attention. She said " well you asked for beans" I said I asked to add beans. So basically my meal was incorrect and she brought my my plate incomplete twice. Once without potatoes, and I couldn't find her to ask for my toast. The other tables were being waited on properly. It was just ours that wasn't. Our waitress basically was inattentive. It was like she didn't want to wait on us. Oh well. Also my friends ordered chilaquiles. They asked for them with a fried egg on top and our waitress said they couldn't make it like that. But when she asked how I wanted my eggs I said fried, and they gave me fried eggs. So I guess our waitress was just not wanting to do her...
Read moreI am disappointed mostly because our experience was going so well. Food was good, service til the end was good. Our waiter goes by the name "G". I ordered a strawberry margarita/frozen. When it was brought to me i asked if there was a bigger one. G told me the bigger one was 8.99. He pointed to my strawberry margarita on the table and tells me its 3.75,normally 6 so I said might as well just get 2 of them at 3.75 that was a good deal, we all laughed it off smiling. We get our bill and it says $13.50-bar. I asked about the error to a lady named Salina. She tried to defer the mistake over and over by saying "he meant" regular margarita not strawberry. Umm i wouldnt have ordered the other. I am a Customer Service Manager & never would I risk the business over $6. Salina is in over her head in that position. No apology or admitting mistake. "G" has potential but I would work somewhere else if they make it to where if he makes a mistake (tough luck customer). There went his tip & here is this honest review. Good food,...
