Ok service, sweet bread is normally better than a lot of other places and seems to usually be relatively fresh (I mean one would hope so with them being made on-site). Selection is ok wouldn't say the largest but definitely not the smallest.
Though my one complaint is it's seems, at least in my experiences, that the whole twp cashiers don't speak English, and as I dont know Spanish I never exactly know my total. One lady will show me the screen on the tablet they use as their register, that's fine with me but the other doesn't and more or less refuses to do the same so I basically have to hand her my money and HOPE the change is correct... And for some reason even when I'm not the only one in the store and there are Hispanic customers that I heard just speaking English in the store, offer no help to me when I get the girl that doesn't show me my total, so that I know what it is .. maybe it's just my luck who knows...
But other than that is a ok place to get sweet bread just be ready for the language barrier if you don't know Spanish (it's not always the most opportune time to be pulling out your phone trying to get it to translate what can easily be shown to you. People are in a constant rush and this takes that much more...
Read moreWeddings are expensive and we had a hard time looking for a wedding cake for 300 people that wasn't overpriced. We finally came across this bakery and we are so thankful and grateful we found them! Our cake was beautiful and delicious. Everyone commented on how awesome it was! We had enough cake for everyone and even leftovers. Everything was budget friendly and everyone was super professional. I gave them a picture of a cake I had in mind and they made it even more beautiful than the picture. They are straight to the point and don't charge a ridiculous price and don't take advantage of people because it is a wedding. I have already recommended them to friends and family all over the DFW metroplex. If you don't mind the drive to Seagoville and want an awesome cake at an awesome price, I would...
Read moreBread is always very fresh! I used to go to another bakery in Balch Springs but they've gotten too crowded so I stopped in here. I was very surprised on how good their breads are! This is my new favorite bakery for pan dulce. They also sell other food items like tamales, salsa, fresh cheese, baked beans, sodas. On weekends, they have the best pork pozole that I've tasted in this area. It really does taste homemade and authentic. I got the $10 container of pozole and it was packed pretty good with meat. They do take cash or card. I also recommend parking in front of the shopping area and NOT behind it. (BTW, they don't use tongs but do provide...
