Mago's Cafe — Restaurant in Dallas

O M G ...LOVE. Really didn't expect this place to really impress me so much. It looks like a small diner from the outside but when you walk in you notice it's a lot more spacious than that The food tho and the service is fantastic! The tacos are delicious and they're not stingy, full of food and flavor! I went yesterday and again today, and maybe tomorrow. You can order pick up and to go. The waitresses are attentive and very pleasant. A wide variety of breakfast tacos and lunch meat tacos. They offered me a tamale sample that their going to start adding to the menu regularly and I was amazed again. Just quality, flavorful food at decent prices. I believe the tamales will be sold in the dozen tho. I live close by so I had been wanting to try this place. The only thing for me is they close at 3pm. I think that's too early, next door the mixing bowl closes even earlier at 2pm. I prefer the food and service at Mago's Cafe, plus they have seating tables and the other place is only to go orders. Anyway, I really wanted to leave a positive review for this cafe as I know others will enjoy it too. No bells and whistles just really good food and friendly...

Great ambience. Very attentive servers. Best chile relleno I’ve ever had in my life! I should have taken a picture since I did not find any posted photos, but I couldn’t contain myself! One bite and I couldn’t put my fork down. Plate wasn’t spilling over the sides with big portions. I left my plate clean and it was enough. I can’t wait to go back and enjoy other dishes. Definitely a must visit eatery and it won’t put a big dent in your pocket book like almost all fast food chains. Try it out-you will not be...

The menudo here is fantastic. It’s served daily, so I don’t have to wait until the weekends to get some. The meat is not too soggy like other places. The flavor is excellent. I prefer it to have a bit more of a kick, but you can always add more jalapeños. Their barbacoa taco is good as well. Don’t be fool, the taco is bigger than other street tacos. On top of all that, the service is excellent. The waitress was very attentive and courteous. I’ll definitely will be back...
