Royal Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Dallas

MAYNE HOLD LUPPP BALLA GUTT BOYZZZZ MUDDY MUDDY SITUATION COCO RED ON ME MAKE THEM HATE ON ME LIFE IS LUSH 1 thing I love is some good fried chicken so I pulled up on ROYAL FRIED CHICKEN it was plenty of parking the parking lot was clean I walked in the ac was nice and cold the TV was playing a dope documentary it smelled good as hell in here nice and clean walking in you see that Kool aid right away it was like 3 people in front of me but they got to me fast now I will say you need to get here during lunch time they specials be a foolywooly and when they gone they gone I ordered my food and a large Kool aid the staff super dope i knew my food was gone be fresh he said take a seat we gone call you when it's ready I said damn can't wait he said here you cup of ice for your KOOL AID AND MAYNE HOLD LUPPP WHEN I GOT THAT 1ST CUP YES LORD I HAD 4 CUPS BEFORE I KNEW IT AKA THE BEST KOOL AID IN DALLAS THEY NEED TO PUT SOME PICKLES IN THIS GOOD ASS KOOL AID AND SALE THEM HELL ADD ANY FRUIT IN THIS AND SALE IT all i was saying is Humm ummm who ever making that damn Kool aid that boiii good lol than he call me for my food dope staff than he call me for my food the staff Hella dope got in the car and opened it up and MAYNE HOLD LUPPP SMOKING HOT CHICKEN WITH MED SEASONING 1 THING I LOVE IS SEEING THAT GREASE ON MY BAG I GOT TO IT AND THAT CHICKEN LEG WAS GONE IT THE SKIN WAS FRESH THE MEAT WAS DRIPPING WITH JUICES FROM BEING COOKED FRESHLY HAD TO B GET A THIGH TO MAKE SURE I WASN'T TRIPPING THAT THANG WAS A FOOLYWOOLY TO AND THEY FRIES DOPE DOPE DOPE I LIKE RESTAURANTS WHO DO THEY OWN THANG WITH FRIES NOW A 4 PEACE WAS GONE FOR I LEFT THE PARKING LOT I ENJOYED MY FOOD IN THE CAR I TOOK A SIPP OF THE BEST KOOL AID IN DALLAS AND BROUGHT THE REST OF MY CHICKEN HOME FOR MY LUNCH TOMORROW I ALL MOST WENT BACK IN FOR ANOTHER CUP OF KOOL AID THE PRICES IS PROBABLY THE BEST IN DALLAS TO IM COMING BACK FOR JUNE 19TH THEY HAVE A DEAL YOU KNOW ME BALLA GUTTT BOYZZZZZZZ THIS ONE OF...

There are two locations for Royals, and I have to say the one located off of Polk, definitely is better than the one in Cedar Hill hands down. But for this location specifically the service is polite and on point. The outside looks rough, but the inside is always clean and bright. The Polk location had a kool aid fountain with 3 different flavors and all are great. I always get my chicken and fries with medium seasoning which is perfect for me. The food is always fresh and made to order and while the chicken isn't super crunchy it makes up for that in flavor. The stand out for me are the natural cut fries which are some of the best I've had in a while. Also the okra is good too. My only disappointments is that the corn nuggets are small, bland and you only get 7 for $3.99. And, secondly, you only get one roll with the six piece. They also take your orders over the phone, which is a plus. Because is you order a 15 piece or larger meal in person, you will be waiting a while. This was our first visit and won't be our last. We ordered a perch plate, the 6 wings plate, a side of okra and a slice of 7 up cake.

The customer service was excellent. The gentleman who took our order was both polite and very helpful. He recommeded that we choose medium seasoning, which was a great choice for us.

Everything was very well seasoned and not salty, just well seasoned. It was an excellent balance. The food was fried to perfection. Crispy without being dried out...and nothing was greasy. The hushpuppies were awesome and full of flavor. The fries and the okra were cooked just right. The roll was fresh, the pickles were great.

The pepper had a large bad spot on it, so it would've been great to have been given one without blemish. The lettuce in the perch plate was browning and wilty so we didn't eat that. The slice of 7-up cake had a good flavor but was on the small side.
