South Polk Pizzeria — Restaurant in Dallas

We are very excited to have a high quality pizza place to try in the neighborhood. I do not care for the delivery chain pizza places. This was my first time ordering for S Polk Pizzeria. I called in my order. I prefer to give all my money to a business and not use the ordering apps (usually charge the business a fee). The first time I called No one answered (630ish on a Monday) so I was a little concerned they were closed, but someone answers the 2nd time. I ordered a pepperoni 12” and vegetarian 12” no olives add spinach. My husband picked up. He met the owner whom was very friendly and kind. My veggie pizza was made wrong and they insisted they remake it ( I would have been fine picking off olives ) and even sent the messed up pizza home with my husband. 😋 The pizza was delicious and seasoned perfectly. High quality cheese, quality ingredient, and they didn’t skimp on the toppings. They use cup and char pepperoni which is my favorite. Nice crispy edges on the pepperoni. Veggies were fresh and still a little crisp which I appreciate. I do have a personal preference of a light cheese well done pizza so I will order my pizzas that way next time. Husband said the restaurant was a little warm and had limited seating so this will be a take out place for us. I appreciate we will not have to drive to bishop arts or design district for quality pizza....

This is by far the best damn pizza I ever had..but...had to take my stars away from 5 because twice now I have ordered online.. .get to the location to pick up the pizza and they are closed...nowhere near the time they are scheduled to close....they don't answer the phone or let you know they are closing....closing time was 8pm ..they were closed at 5pm ..didn't call or tell me anything....this happened to me twice with them so even though the pizza is good ..I'm not wasting my time going back..and the customer service is horrible...they don't even say hi when you walk in the building....very unfriendly...this place has the potential to be great because the pizza is good ..but they definitely need to work on the service...I gave a 5star review a year ago..came back to edit it to 2... Fix your issues please...and they respond to me that they are closed on Sundays...who in the hell said I said anything about a Sunday...but yet you still take online orders on Sunday and the door also says different than what you're saying....if you're closed on Sunday .then why does it's say you're open, and you take online orders...like I said..fix your issues .or not... doesn't matter..the fact that you responded this way, I definitely...

This was my first visit to the pizzeria bistro. However, this wasn't the first time I had the food from their establishment. I must say their pizza is by far the best! It is better than all the others in the DFW that I have eaten. Of course, as an international traveler, I have eaten some great pizzas from Rome, Chicago, New York, and other places. Subsequently, while ordering the Supreme medium/thin crust with three different meats and all the vegetables, the owner gave a little background on they Chicago style. I should expect of the taste of their pizzas. The place was a clean and open place, allowing customers to see their food being prepared and cooked, whether you wait inside or outside. I loved the convenienous of where the bistro is from the freeway. The menu reflects a variety of pizzas toppings, including seafood. The prices were great and reasonable. Again, this wasn't my first time eating South Polk Pizzas, and it won't be my last. My family and I have enjoyed every pizza from this establishment, and I will encourage the public to get in line for this great place. Once they try, they will refuse to waste their money's at the other pizza 🍕 establishments I...
