Taqueria Cristina — Restaurant in Dallas

I feel like I'm south of the border when I'm in here. Just very recently discovered this and it's already my favorite, I had not had better Mexican food to this point since some joint in San Diego and I eat a lot. Really fantastic food, good margs, tacos are amazing and the churros, well they are wonderful. The salsa is out of this world, best I have ever had. Truly a great place, the only thing I can really say is some of the ice looked dirty in some of the drinks.

This is the kind of joint where I went yesterday but will be returning again today. I hope to single handily keep this place in business. Awesome food and drinks, can't say that or get enough of it. We been coming here for years now my wife and daughter love it. We drive from McKinney TX just to come here. We always get good service from our waiter it’s always the same guy I’m sorry I don’t know your name . The chips and salsa with bean dip are fantastic the salsa is always fresh!!!!. We love coming for the tacos 🌮 !! And atmosphere they usually have someone singing karaoke on the stage it be getting crazy on the weekend. The drinks are a bit pricey but they are the best we always start with a mango frozen with Chamoy and also get a paleta shot which is fire 🔥 🔥. Went in on a Friday evening to have dinner. I ordered the fish and shrimp soup. Which I did not like as soon as the waitress brought it out to our table my face said it all. But I did try it and didn't like it had no flavor at all and bearly had any veggies in the soup. It had a few pieces of carrots and celery. The broth was so red orange looking. I was so unhappy. My hubby ordered the carne asada plate which before ordering it he ask the waitress if it was a big portion would it get him full. Guess what it didn't get him full. Plus it was super cold inside we ask the waitress if the ceiling fan could be turned off and she said no. Our waitress wasn't friendly at all plus we kept calling her she never check up on us.
