So my experience has been a little bit of everything, we had a great reaction/presentation when we were first introduced to these apartments. The neighborhood looked amazing, a clean and nice area. But small things started arising,
This past summer there were various residents drinking with glass containers in the pool, kids playing around, when we called management about this situation no one showed up. You can guess what happened afterwards, after a couple of drinks they knocked down a bottle, leaving pieces of glass all over the side of the pool, leaving maintenance to have no option than to drain the pool completely.
Small amount of alerts were received about break ins occurring (not by management) but by news articles and community websites. Management kept quiet about this situation, and residents were just unfortunately kept in the dark. We raised this issue various times but never received a response by them.
We were told not to put lights on the balcony for Christmas per company policy, which we understood if that was the rule, but the administration of the property was more concerned about the external appearance than by the functionality of our complex; maintenance was slowly deteriorating (you had to call to have at least someone show up in the next week to clean up the common areas), doors with security locks were no longer working and the elevator buttons were deteriorating
Appearance does sale at the end of the day, but if management is not prioritizing problems- then it does not matter how much a place...

The unit itself is decent, I have floor to ceiling windows but there is no screens. The washer is a low water washer so if washing with soaking water is important to you it isn't a thing. There is no door bell and a hallway leading to the apartment so they have to knock loudly. Decent sized apartment and spaced.
Now why you should not move here.....
The front office staff is the most incompetent people I have ever met in my life. My apartment was dirty when I moved in. There was mold growing from the vents. The holes from pictures and wear and tear from the previous tenants was never fixed. The nice floor to ceiling windows are dirty and you can't really see out of them and not due to be cleaned until 2026. The garage door works only half the time. The carpet in the hallway wreaks of dog urine. The app for paying rent went down and I had to go and ask the office how to pay my rent. The apartment sits in front of restaurants and shopping so be prepared to get woken up all night as the trucks drop off supplies. I asked for an EV charger 3 times and 3 times they gave me someone else's charger and to make it right they offered me to go park at a different complex.
It makes no sense that paying for a premium apartment comes with so many issues and a front office staff who could careless about...
Read moreI have been living at The Sound for about 2 years now. I have seen it from the very beginning where it was only 1 building in the middle of a construction site. Well patience is a virtue and this time it really paid off and turned out to be a wonderful place to live. The apartment layout is brilliantly designed, plenty of natural light. The very high ceiling makes the rooms look taller and grander, giving it a luxurious feel. I love the modern kitchen, the huge bedroom and the extraordinary spacious walking closet. The interior finishes are top notch delivering a fantastic home feel. The balcony is huge too! The amenities includes a few pools, a 8000 square feet gym and a huge park with trail around a beautiful lake surrounded by a tone of restaurants and bars. I’m originally from Paris, France and it’s been my favorite apt since I moved to the U.S. the leasing agents, Dontae and Hailey are awesome and are always helping out with any questions. I highly recommend it!!
PS: My only bad experience here was with the regional manager Amy Kovac by whom I was treated poorly and...
