Whataburger — Restaurant in Dallas

I work nearby this location, spent the day working last Friday, then drove thru for the Mushroom Swiss Burger meal...substituted Dr. Pepper Shake for beverage, spent about $12.00.

I arrived home to enjoy my meal, only to discover they put a disgusting dry double bacon cheeseburger. It was gross, but my dog enjoyed it. I phoned, spoke to on-duty manager who said just bring receipt and they would replace the meal. Very good customer service.

I went last evening to get the meal and when I entered, found two employees and a plain dressed female in the booths, feet up. One appeared to be taking orders, the guy was doing nothing. Even when a family of six entered (with a dog or cat wrapped in a blanket, I might add), not one got up to man the empty counter.

The same manager was running around, cooking chicken breasts, and rectifying my botched order from Friday.

I went to use restroom while waiting. It was filthy, trash all over, did not even use commode, just washed my hands...the hot water spigot was malfunctioning, and from the look of the continuous stream of water, they must have a hefty bill end of month.

When I came out, and the entire time I was there waiting for my order, the employees were on break and counter empty with manager jumping around, trying to manage it all, it appeared.

Long story short, made my 40 minute commute, only to find the same dry, double bacon cheeseburger and NOT the Mushroom Swiss Burger I, for a 2nd attempt, was looking forward to enjoying.

Kudos on the Dr. Pepper Shake. It is very tasty

It is rare that I have great things to say about a drive thru experience, but today is one of those days. I usually go to the Whataburger on Inwood, but the service has gotten so bad, and the food is always wrong so I decided to try this location instead. I was bringing my dog back from the vet, and promised him a burger. He only likes them one way - dry, well done, nothing but a roll and meat. Sounds easy, right? You would be amazed how many times other locations have gotten this wrong. Try ordering a burger with everything but the meat when you are a vegetarian - that really stumps them! But back to this location. It was a rainy, miserable day and I was surprised when a very pleasant woman asked me how my day was going, and what my name was. I have NEVER had that happen at a Whataburger. She was efficient, asked all of the right questions, and made suggestions for add-ons that if I was hungry she could have talked me into - she was that good. I asked her what her name was and she seemed surprised - I guess the kindness she showed me isn't always reciprocated by her guests. Willi was wonderful, and made a dreary day much brighter. The fries were hot, everything was cooked perfectly (even Zach's burger) and I left with an entirely new opinion of Whataburger. Zach was so impressed that he said I needed to write a review and hope that someone who could make Willi's life brighter like she does with her customers would read it. I...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Whataburger drive-thru, and I must say it was an excellent experience. The service was not only fast but also very friendly. The staff at this location were courteous and efficient, making the whole process a breeze.
