3 months ago, I wrote this review and highly rated Dallastown's Parma... This is the first time I've visited this location. The service was on point. The young lady was pleasant and patient, and she even served our food with a smile. I had the Pepperoni & Philly Steak Pizza, it was a nice size piece and it taste pretty good. Hubby, had a Philly Steak Sub w/French Fries, and Coke special. The sub was well loaded with meat and cheese, and extra Mayo... like he likes it. I'll try the Sub next time with a few added toppings. I was a little disappointed that they didn't serve Parmesan Wings... I've had them a few times at the York location many years back, and was looking forward to tasting them again. I'm hoping that the York location still has them on their menu, because I'll be stopping by sometime in the near future. God willing.
Thanks to the staff for a great time out with our daughter and gbabies.
But after visiting in January, it saddens me that I have to edit and update my review. Hubby and I decided to take my mom out for lunch and wanted her to have an awesome experience enjoying a Steak Sub, one like Hubby had ordered 3 months prior, and that I too was looking forward to trying. But, we we all sadly mistaken. It was no where near the experience we had. 3 Steak Subs and they were only half full. We had ordered 2 with peppers and onions, but you could barely make them out even in the little amount of meat that was in there. Mom, enquired about the peppers, because you couldn't see any in her's and was told, "They are cooked into the meat", but again you could not make them out. What happened to the full sandwich that I had seen Hubby enjoy just 3 months earlier? I was reminded of the old Wendy's commercial where the lady asked, "Where's the Beef?"... And it cost $10 for the special, and what a special it was.
Needless to say, we were taken back a few squares with such disappointment, because we all were still hungry when we left, and had to stop and grab more food. This will be our last visit to this Parma's. The added photo, is of...
Read moreWow super disappointed, we love Parma….but this time I believe will be our last order. We absolutely love the pretzelized bolis at Parma, truly an item that sets them apart. We order a Boli and I forgot to pretzelize it. I made a quick call to make the change however I was told my order was in the oven already. That’s amazing given I received my online email confirmation at 6:58pm and called at 7:01pm. I have the experience of working in food service as an administrator for Chick-fil-A and I gotta hand it to you there at Parma you must have some super human team members to put together a family size steak boli in less than 3 minutes and it be in the oven on a Friday night…..hmmm. Okay, what was I gonna do? It’s in the oven but now I need to wait 45mins for it to be complete? So...
Read moreWe've ordered from parma countless times and have always had a good experience, but today was so bad its worth mentioning if only so they can correct it before it impacts their wonderful reputation. Firstly the woman who took the order hung up on my mother. Then she hung up on my son's in-home therapist. When we finally didn't get hung up on the employee who took the order was clearly agitated with any and all requests and questions and quite rude to our household. Additionally, our in-home therapist asked to pay separately for part of the order (as she isn't allowed to let us pay) and was informed that she had to order more to qualify for delivery even though it was being delivered with our $50+ order. Overall the experience left us looking to order somewhere...
