Terrific High End Mexican Restaurant... went with my wife on Sunday... place was very busy. We were seated quickly and attended to by a terrific waiter. We ordered the Parrillada Plate for 39 dollars... was huge... steak, grilled chicken, two pork chops and abt a dozen jumbo shrimp... what was most amazing was the flavor profile and it was all cooked over a wood fire... amazing... Margaritas were excellent and huge... my advice... get the small... still bigger than anyone else. We will return soon... a very pleasant experience in these times of Covid... all staff was wearing gloves and masks. Cleaning was going on constantly...

Search reviews Willie P. Dalton, GA 351421 10/12/2022Updated review 5 photos I have seen many postings about Birria Tacos, so when I saw them on the menu, I knew it was for me... Excellent choice... totally different from any taco I have ever eaten... seems the tortillas are grilled with a dose of the cooking juices of the meat... that permeates the tortillas... then stuffed with cheese and very tender stewed beef. Topped with onions and cilantro and served with a generous cup of dipping sauce. It was incredible. Cost about 11 bucks and change for three tacos. Trust me worth it and then some. Of course, I had a house margarita which was terrific... no weak drinks here... overall five stars all the way... next visit... put this...

We made our first pick up order today and were missing a Guadalajara soup. My husband called and asked if we could get a refund or pick it up because we were missing it. After asking us multiple times if we were sure it wasn’t there they tell him he can go pick it up. He makes his way to pick it up only for them to tell him they wanted to see the whole order. Why did she not ask for that over the phone? They tried arguing the soup was in the bags when it clearly wasn’t. They made us fell like we were trying to steal an $8 soup. People make mistakes I understand but that was not the control the situation. I am super disappointed in how my husband was treated. They did give us a cheese dip to “compensate” but this is about how they made my husband feel over an $8 soup. Trust me I have no need to be stealing an $8 soup.
OLD REVIEW: This is definitely the best Mexican restaurant in Dalton. I am pretty picky about Mexican food but they always live up to my expectations. The chips, salsa, and guac are amazing. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. I recommend the Pineapple Shrimp! It is delicious. Most importantly the staff has always given us exceptional service. I have never had a complaint. My fiancé and I have been eating here for a while and I realized I have never left a review so here it is :)! The new owners have done...
Read moreThe food was okay, but wasn't seasoned the way you'd expect Mexican food to be seasoned. It was bland and as if they didn't use salt at all Refried beans tasted like they were canned and the Pico de Gallo tasted nothing like any Pico de Gallo I have eaten. It wasn't like Pico de Gallo you'd eat at a Latino's home! The Margaritas tasted as if they had zero alcohol in them, basically like a slushy from Sonics. Like a sweet juice slushy! Also beware,as this place automatically adds what they call a service fee to your bill! They do not post that anywhere so you aren't aware of it ,unless you read your ticket,so some folks might leave a tip, when they force a mandatory high tip on customers. For 2 Margaritas ,my husband was charged almost $5 mandatory tip just for bringing them to the table. My Sister-in-law was charged $30.31 as a mandatory tip, which they called a Service fee!. Folks, tips are not mandatory. Our family does always tip but it is up to us the amount based on the service we get. If there is a mandatory tip policy ,then the restaurant should post that policy at the front of the restaurant! Due to this policy,we will not ever eat here again and will definitely warn people about this unposted mandatory...
