This place reminds me of how I grew up. I grew up in a bar restaurant with family atmosphere and that's exactly what this place was. I enjoyed my experience here they have very good portions. Nice roomie booths and and comfortable chairs. How older woman behind the counter reminded me of my aunt you know she ran it. Was my first time there she helped me through the process. Ordered my mom a plate to go and was was having a conversation with the older woman and was letting her know I take care of my mother. To make sure my mother had a nice portion made sure it was freshly cut and I appreciated that. You can get all kinds of good food here they cut the meat fresh they also make sandwiches that are very tasty as well I really recommend this place give it a try from what I understand it has been here for quite a long time. You come and grab a tray get your food go to the counter pay and you can sit down. Are you going to tell him it's to go and I'll give you it to go container with all the utensils and everything you don't have to ask them for better or anyting and that's appreciate it. This is a nice little hofbrau. They have different cuts of meat, like Roast Beef, Pastrami, Corned Beef, Turkey, and Ham. They also have Turkey wings, and Turkey drumsticks. You can get a sandwich with any of the meats for around $10 bucks. or you can get a dinner with all the fixing for $17 buck unless you're a Senior, then you pay $14 bucks. The food is good, you get good portions and a dinner roll. I had past by this place for years and always wanted to try it, but the timing was never right. I finally got to try it about a week ago. Was still hungry when I left. It was kind of disappointing. If you are dining in, grab a cafeteria tray on the side and tell the lady what you want. I ordered the pastrami dinner plate $17. There was more mash potatoes than pastrami. They should have called it a mash potatoes dinner with a side of pastrami instead. The food tasted fine. The pastrami wasn't overly salty and cooked properly. Usually it might dry out because it is on a heated tray. They do give you some au jus.
