This review is for three separate visits to this establishment, one prior and two following our cruise.

Upon arrival, the parking lot was overcrowded with motorcycles, patrons and Sheriff deputies, arrived on bike night. Our flight was delayed so arrival was at roughly 10:00 pm. After check-in, attempted to dine at 10:30pm, bartender stated they were done serving food for the evening. Ordered a beer with a shot, came in plastic cups due to no glassware.

Return from cruise:

Lunch; every item we attempted to order initially was out of stock. We finally found something they had, ordered the fish tacos, mozzarella stick and fries. Fries were mediocre, mozzarella sticks had an off taste. Fish tacos were full and flaky, but were off as well. Asked the waitress, she informed me that since they were out of Mahi Mahi, the fish was substituted with Cod. Wasn’t informed of this when I placed my order.

Dinner; Establishment had SNF on so loud, patrons were asking for volume to be turned down. They were told no, so they left. During halftime, music was playing, it was even louder. Our waitress finally turned it down after so many complaints, was momentarily for halftime. Same issue with ordering, dinner as before, more items unavailable.

There was an employee slamming tables, leaving chairs in the aisle, and acted unprofessional, it ended up being the manager.

Our waitress, Kathryn, was exceptional working with what she had.

Overview: I suggest you avoid this establishment as a whole, unless you have no alternate. Overpriced, under seasoned, and defiantly not worth your...

Food 4 stars. Bartending staff 5 stars. Our restaurant server…1 lonely star. … Like many others at the Rodeway Inn Ft Lauderdale we stayed here in preparation for a cruise. It only made sense to try out the pub/restaurant attached to the Inn for dinner and a few drinks. Things went very quickly south after our server (M.L) took our drink order and promised to be back with our drinks and to take our food order. She did indeed return to our table, but it was like she’d never seen us before..”Hi! Can I get you something to drink?” Um..what? Us: “We just ordered our drinks from you, but we’d like to order some food” ML: “Oh. What do you want to drink?” Us: We repeated our drink order ML: “ok. Back in a minute with those drinks!” Us: “Wait! We need food too! Nachos and Chicken Quesadilla please” ML: Ok!! (Very bubbly personality) … Fifteen minutes later… … ML: “Here’s the nachos!” Us: “Uh…great..are our drinks coming? And what about the quesadillas?” ML: “oh! Sorry..what do you want to drink?” … 5 minutes later…”what kind of Fajitas did you want?” Us: Chicken QUESADILLAS, not fajita’s!!!!” … 😶 … OMG. This went on ALL NIGHT! … So…The food (when it was finally ordered correctly) was great! … The service in the restaurant…not so much. … Honestly, we treated this as “dinner and a comedy show” because it was the only way we could keep our sanity! … The bartender Crystal did an AWESOME job of getting things right that were going totally off the rails. Cudos to Crystal for saving...

We were in town for work and wanted to catch Monday Night Football. We walked in and basically no one was there, we should have taken that as a sign. CBS was on every TV, and Ed Sheeran was playing. I had to double check that this was a “Sports bar” because you wouldn’t know it by walking in.

After asking, they put on ESPN and even turned on the audio after a bit.

We ordered drinks. My colleague was informed they couldn’t make any cocktails off their menu. (No explanation as to why.) My other colleague ordered a Miller Lite only to later be informed they were out (both of draft and bottles). I later tried to order a Michelob Ultra (listed on menu) and was informed they were out.

I was ready to order wings, only to be informed, you guessed it, they are out. She recommended the nachos so I gave them a try. There were probably 10 chips that came out SMOTHERED in queso and toppings. The chips that were there, were actually charred and black on the corners (too long under the heat lamp?). We finished the chips and they brought us some more after I asked, pointing out that we still had about a pound of toppings and no chips to go with them.

Our waitress wasn’t attentive and spent most of the time getting her duo lingo and tik tok im (volume up) at another booth.

I don’t understand how this place is open and strongly encourage everyone else to find another place to...

First time here today and the best part was the appetizer (calamari) and dessert(key lime pie). I dined here around 1230/1 pm, and for my first time it was not a great experience. As you walk in I was able to choose seating, and the first thing I noticed was ripped seat cushions and a sticky/dirty table. The waitress seemed nice but not attentive, more reactive instead of proactive. I had to ask for a refill of water, silverware, for the table to be cleaned. After my food was delivered there was no follow up to see how it was. I had to flag the waitress down just to tell her that my food was burnt. I ordered fajitas and the peppers, onions, and pieces of the chickens were burnt/black and when I brought this up to the waitress the first statement she made was that it might be an upcharge to replace the burnt food. When I finally received the new food it was cooked almost the same as the previous batch. While eating the manager came over and asked me how my food was and I explained all the aforementioned issues and he said "i hope it gets better" and walked away. The only reason I took the time to write this review is because the staff didn't take any time to resolve my issues or effort to make my experience better.

Staying at a nearby hotel on a work trip, heavy-rain evening, I was looking to find some dinner close enough to the hotel to avoid the massive traffic jams in the area. Marina 84 Sports Bar & Grill came up in Google Maps. Being only three minutes away from the hotel, it seemed like a perfect match, and it was. I was greeted by the lovely bartender (Crystal) who made a perfect Manhattan. I chose the French Onion soup and Caesar Salad with grilled chicken, for dinner. Both were delicious! Both dishes tasted far better than what I expected out of bar food. The place is nice, with a relaxing, casual atmosphere. I know it’s a sports bar, but the club music (tss tum tss tum tss tum tss tum tss tum) was not my favorite accompaniment for dinner, but I think I tuned it out, eventually. I would definitely return to Marina 84 and highly recommend it. 🙌🏼

I was extremely disappointed with my recent dining experience. I ordered the shrimp fajitas, priced at $18.99, and was shocked by the portion size. The plate contained only five shrimp, and it was half-filled. As shown in the attached photo, this was the entire meal. It did not include any sides like beans and rice. The dish came with cheese, sour cream, lettuce, and Pico de Gallo, but no guacamole, which was supposed to be included. Additionally, the four tortillas provided were insufficient given the sparse shrimp and vegetable portions. With only one shrimp per tortilla, the meal felt inadequate. Moreover, the peppers and onions were sparse, and the dish lacked seasoning, making it quite bland. Overall, this was a very disappointing meal, and I would not recommend it.
