No stars ... I asked my daughter to get me a steak sub from Joe and Mimas, but I hadn't been there in so many years so I decided with the kids to get Dell Anno's since I've had food a few times here and it was good. Worst experience I've ever had with take out... there was hair in ALL THREE CONTAINERS of ranch dressing! DISGUSTING!!!!! They didn't put the babies slice of pizza in the bag... I asked my daughter who paid for the food for me, to take me there. The male host said that he talked to the manager about the ranch and the manager said he could give us a large container of ranch. I asked to speak to the manager. The manager approached us unapologetic and told me he could "give" me the slice of pizza that we paid for in our order but didn't receive and an "I Owe U" in two weeks. I really think the manager and staff were amused by serving us in the manner that they did. I asked him how he felt about the hair in all of the ranch containers and he told me that everyone wears hair nets. I was really shocked by the way he was handling the entire ordeal and felt that I was being taken advantage of. We paid $65.00 to be served someones nasty hair and then was told that he could give us the slice of pizza that we paid for and a two week "I Owe You". This experience was wrong on so many levels and I will never return here again. Im so sorry for ordering from this place and opening my family up to unnecessary health and safety risk. The managers resolution has caused me to believe without a doubt that the mishaps were not mistakes and were cruel and viciously intended to cause harm. What a shame that a business would treat a customer with such little respect while jeopardizing their health and well being all on...
ย ย ย Read moreWhen I entered the pizzeria I carried a small, uncomplicated desire: two pepperoni slices, no more, no less. Desire, of course, is the seed of suffering, but even a monk must eat. The staff handed me a box within ten minutesโswift as a well-trained mind returning to the breath.
Yet the moment I opened that box in my car, a briny smell rose up like a karmic reminder. There, beside a lone pepperoni slice, rested an anchovy sliceโoily, glinting, and entirely unasked-for. A sign inside the shop proclaims that once you leave, โall sales are final.โ In other words: attachment to correctness is your own dukkha to manage. Their error, my burden.
I ate. The anchovy was passable; salt can be a teacher of impermanence as well as thirst. Still, mindful acceptance need not preclude right speech: transforming โtwo pepperoniโ into โpepperoni and fishโ without recourse for correction is poor karma in the realm of hospitality. May they one day notice the causal link between careless preparation and lost goodwillโbefore the wheel turns and empties their tables.
Until then, I shall seek pizza where intention and action are in...
ย ย ย Read moreWe found this place on Google and decided to give them a try two weeks ago. The app sampler is honestly enough to feed two people for a meal. I ordered the meat stromboli and only ate half after. The crust was good and the filling was perfect. I highly recommend dipping it in spicy ranch that you can make at the table. My boyfriend got island philly and said it was to die for. We didn't have room for dessert. The atmosphere was friendly and our server was great. He was really helpful with what to order for our first time. The fried pickles were amazing. The chicken tenders were average. The mozzarella sticks were good. The Mac and cheese bites tasted like Kraft Mac and cheese. The onion rings were fried just right so the onion came off with the breading.
Now this is for all the non tippers, don't sit down and eat here if you aren't going to tip. They don't seem too short staffed but while we sat outside two tables left and didn't leave any tip their waitress looked like she was going to cry and they left the table looking like a toddler...
