I had a VA Dr appt and rode transportation provided by the VA. We drove from Decatur Illinois to Danville Illinois. I was to return to Decatur via the VA transportation. My daughter called me and said I'll come get you and bring you home. Besides, I want get some Lee's chicken. She told me all about it. I'm new to this area so this is interesting to me. I told my driver from the VA transportation about my daughter taking me back home and about Lee's chicken. He said oh yeah " they have the best fried chicken". He told me about it. Terrible storm . 2 days no power where I live. Was happy to see them open. They were packed at 224 Sat. I use a power chair so I hated to go in and take up space. I did finally go in, probably 10 people in front of me. Amazing how fast everything went . Young lady took my order, it was filled in minutes. After she bagged it she ran to the front door to hold open for me so I could leave safely in my power chair. I'm mad I didn't get her name but because of her I'll absolutely be back. My chair actually slide the rug around and they had to fix that but it was one of the nicest, most professional, pleasant staff I've seen. I had the best experience with an employee at Lees Famous Recipe today I had a large order for my office and walked into a very crowded building. Abrianna took my order and proceeded to go out of her way to make sure all the food was in the sacks. :Yes .....that is her job however, this young lady took a pen and wrote what was in each box just to make it easier for me when i arrived at the retirement party at my office. Abrianna was polite, smiling and had the best customer service skills I had seen in a very long time !!
