I called to ask the restaurant was there a way for me to tell them what my sides were for my platter because I was unable to select it on uber eats. The woman who answered the phone cut me off in the middle of talking and placed me on hold . Then she picked up the phone and I preceded to repeat my self and she said to , “ what , sir I didn’t hear” so I raised my voice slightly so that she could hear me . She then said why am I shouting at her, I said to her you said you didn’t hear me , so I’m slightly raising my voice . She then asked me for my name , and I said why do you need my name . She got smart with me and said she was trying to search for my order. I tried to explain to her that I didn’t order anything yet I was calling to ask a question about how to order but she was not trying to listen to me at all. On May 17 I was on my lunch break and decided to stop here as I have heard good things from my colleagues, I ordered rice peas and fried chicken no vegetables the gentleman ask me twice if I’m sure I don’t want another side I told him no repeatedly he said ok I hear you loud and clear. After he shared my food I took a look in the box and the food looked good, when I got to work and open my box he put the cabbage under the meat so I wouldn’t see it I was so upset, I couldn’t head back to the restaurant so I tried calling, i ended up wasting $12 of my hard earn money because I threw the food away. Read more9/19 EDIT: To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. After having to place three different orders on GH and having two orders canceled (1st order because they didn’t have pepper steak, 2nd was GH’s fault), i finally got the third order only for it to be all the way wrong. Ordered stewed chicken, rice and peas and cabbage. Received stewed chicken, white rice, and no veggie at all. Even if y’all ran out (doubt it at 3:30 in the afternoon), y’all couldn’t call or substitute it with something else? Then no one answered the phone when I kept calling. That’s just ridiculous.
