My recent visit to the McDonald's at I-95 South Service Plaza in Darien, CT, left me utterly appalled. Upon ordering three Big Mac meals, I was staggered to find that the total came to nearly $80. Yes, you read that correctly—$80 for three meals at a fast-food chain that prides itself on affordability. This exorbitant pricing is not justifiable by any stretch of the imagination.
McDonald's, once a symbol of accessible and reasonably priced food, has allowed franchise owners like those at the Darien location to exploit customers with unconscionable price hikes. It is unacceptable for a corporation of McDonald's stature to permit such blatant price gouging under its banner.
This experience has firmly cemented my decision to never set foot in another McDonald's again, and I urge others to reconsider supporting a company that allows its franchisees to take advantage of customers in this manner. There are plenty of other dining options that offer fair pricing and respect their customers. McDonald's should be ashamed of themselves for letting greed overshadow their core values of affordability and customer satisfaction.
In conclusion, unless you enjoy feeling swindled and taken advantage of, steer clear of the McDonald's at I-95 South Service Plaza in Darien, CT. They clearly prioritize profit margins over customer loyalty and...
