Full disclosure, I don't think I have been to this building since it became Happy Joe's. We live close to it and get food delivered from time to time but generally don't dine in. My 8 year old picked Happy Joes for dinner on her birthday (Friday 7/1), she made the decision pretty last minute but we went as a group of 4 at 5:30pm despite the fact that we had 7pm movie tickets. We were pretty simple overall, we ordered one large 1/2 sausage 1/2 Pepperoni and a Personal sized Happy Joe Special for my 13 year old that tagged along. Both pizzas were very good, no shortage of cheese or toppings, piping hot, perfectly cooked pan crust...literally everything a pizza should be. Our waitress was perfectly attentive; around enough that drinks didn't run dry but not enough to be annoying. She was also handling a group of 25 or so adults that seemed to order roughly one of everything on the menu and seemed, generally speaking, pretty needy. I feel it is worth mentioning that we DID NOT once mention the fact that we were in a rush or had a movie to get to, frankly its not her problem that as a 39 year old father of 4 I can get my act together and get out of the house early enough to not be rushed between dinner and the movie. :) All in all we were in and out in 45 minutes and made it to the movie on time. Overall this was a great experience and we will definitely be making a point to dine in more often. 100% recommend! (Apologies for the lacking pictures, I didn't really have any plans on writing a review)

So I do love Happy Joe's taco favorite anywhere. But price is high so I and ñ save it ASAP treat. I received a coupon in the mail for my birthday for $10 off so yep i was hungry for it then. Took my family to eat out. Ordered taco of course, they also ordered happy Joe's special and the chicken bacon ranch. Ordered onion rings and garlic bread with cheese. Onion rings came out first and was a tower. Tasted great. Then all the pizzas came out. No garlic bread. Waitress came back indicating only 2 order put in and put two more on. So you can see on the toast where one cheese looks tossed and plopped on and you can also see the difference on the two new ones versus the other two you can see sat. But the waitress came out with the bread indicating already added a credit for 50 off the bread.

This place is really a hit or miss for me, the price isnt terrible especially if you use your punch card I do recommend starting one for a free buffet, the waiter/waitressing does have quite a turn over rate but overall it does hit the spot with how high prices can be on pizzas in general, i do frequent this location a lot but change it up every so often I would say the best time to hit the buffet for hot pizza would be the 12-12:30pm range. Though the hours are from 11am-1:30pm give it a try for yourself.

If I could rate this place a half a star I would! We had our draft order get together here Sunday August 20th 2017 we were supposed to have an area for us reserved! We get there the are wasn't reserved had to wait for another area! We get sat down and wait for like 15 mins to get anyone to take our drink orders! We finally get our sodas ordered and didn't get them for another 15 mins! After we get our drinks we wanted to order but our waitress took off! Waited again she finally comes back get our cheese sticks and pizza ordered waited for almost a hour to get them! The others that was with them didn't get their pasta till 20 mins after we got our food! Asked a guy that looks like he was the host him about somethings he told us that it wasn't his thing to do but finally gave us some silverware after we asked 3 times for the ones that didn't have it! Couldn't get refills on our drinks only got one when we were there almost two hours or so! The other guys didn't get their cheese sticks they ordered! We get our bills and the waitress didn't give the the bills to the right people! There was one light in the tunnel the staff guy or whatever it said on his tag that was cooking and running his butt off came and told us what was going on did what he could says he was short handed and did what he could to help us! Everything took forever and it was our first time there along with others! We go out to leave and see 4 employees not the one that really helped us in the back on their phones outside smoking!!! One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a Happy Joe's or for a restaurant ever in the Quad Cities!!! This place should be ashamed for everything that went on! Customer service was horrible, food wait was horrible, host was very horrible!!! All around bad experience! Don't know of I will ever be back! We were planning having our Sunday Fantasy meetings there don't know if that...

Was first time at this restaurant/location.

When we walked in there was only 3 or 4 tables currently, not busy at all. Took about 10 minutes for a waitress to greet us and take drink orders. We order pizza at the same time as drinks since we had time to decide.

Cheese sticks came out within a reasonable time.

The pizza however took almost 50 minutes to come out! Was just a large half pepperoni h as of taco.

We waited and waited and waited...then when the pizza finally did come out we were not given any lettuce or taco sauce as requested for the taco pizza.

Had to wait another 15 min for waitress to request lettuce and taco sauce yet again to even begin to eat our pizza. At that point she did not notice our empty cups waiting on refills.

We then had to wait another 15 minutes for any refills we wanted (out empty cups sat at the end of our table from before we got our pizza).

Once we got our refills and ate a few slices we were full due to the wait for the pizza to come out.

Then had to wait another 15 minutes for our check and to request a box since we barely touched pizza.

All in all, we had to wait a ridiculous amount of time and had a terrible experience. I dont know if we will be back anytime soon, let alone not for $50.00 for just 2...
