Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Davenport

Not really an eat in place. Service was good. They are friendly and helpful. I did get overcharged, and it was handled well. I gave 4 stars due to online issues. It's not this specific place. Online is a joke! The pizzoli is not on-sale online, like advertised. You need a code. Yet unless you see that on a paper in-store or catch the pop-up, you don't know. The deals are a joke as well. I wanted a large 2-topping with breadsticks deal for $14.99. Plus tax. I picked my 2 toppings and added breadsticks. By the end, it only took off $7.49, leaving my total to $16.99 plus tax coming out to $18.08. WTH?! That's definitely not $14.99 for the pizza and sticks, then adding tax. So after wasting 10 mins online and not getting what the deal was supposed to be, I said forget it and didn't bother placing another order. They only gave me a week to use a coupon for signing up with texts, and that coupon doesn't tell you, but it's online only. So if I want to use this coupon, I have to make another hour plus drive back since online is all jacked up. And I didn't feel like wasting more time with no help. This place is under poor management! I ordered a large DOUBLE old world pepperoni with garlic butter and Parmesan on the crust. I was told the delivery would take about 40 minutes. Once an hour had passed I called to ask where my pizza was, they said he was on the way, I said okay. Once I got the pizza (about 90 mins later) I tipped the driver and went upstairs to eat. Opened the box and realized that everything was wrong. It was barely single topping. There was maybe 10 tiny pieces of Old World pepperoni on the entire pizza. The cheese was about 3 inches from the crust. No parmesan and no garlic butter on the crust. It was also cold and looked like it had been sitting in the refrigerator. Called the manager and he said he was not able to give a refund. I said that's kind of crappy that they take away your power as a manager and he agreed and said he was looking for a new job. He said he would have to contact the general manager. He did and the general manager denied the refund. This place hasn't just gone downhill it's fallen all the way to the bottom. Don't...

I had a craving for a Pepperoni Magnifico pizza so I decided to order Marcos. Pizza arrived semi warm at best, 2 to 3 inches of crust around edges before any toppings or cheese began. There was hardly any pepperoni, definitely not "magnifico"! The pizza was very greasy which I don't understand because there was not much pepperoni on it, the pizza was also stuck to the top of the box. And to top it off the pizza took an hour and 15 minutes to arrive. I love Marcos but after this experience I am hesitant about ever ordering from there again. Look at the attached photos and tell me thats how the pizza looks on the commercials or ads. They did offer to remake the pizza but as it was already 8:15 at night and I was starving I coudn't wait for another pizza to be made. I ended up throwing the rest of the pizza away, it was mostly crust anways. I have bought cheap frozen pizzas that were better than this. What a disappointment...
