This was my first time visiting this restaurant had never had any food from there, I had a shrimp cocktail to go, as that is my favorite. The place was very clean and cozy, the staff was very welcoming and polite. There was only 2 others customers at the time. Unfortunately the shrimp cocktail was not fresh it had to be 2-3 days old as the shrimp bites were too chewy, and rubbery. It’s a decent size but it doesn’t have whole shrimp and the shrimp bites do not add to the veggie ratio. I say it’s not fresh because I often make this dish but sometimes there isn’t the time. It only comes with 4 small packets of saltines, no lime and hot sauce upon request. The cilantro was brown and yellow little bits not that beautiful bright green, but a little fresh green, the onions were translucent as this happens the more days it sits, it also comes with avocado and it’s a tad sweet. Due to the lack of it not being fresh I would definitely not recommend getting it. Its total cost was $16+ cents. I will definitely return at some point to try their torta asada sandwich and their burritos. One item can’t make everything bad, I’ll add a picture of what a fresh shrimp cocktail looks...
Read moreI was told about this location from a church member, so I had to try it out. Took my son after school for a 2pm lunch and it was delicious. We are a fan of a meat cut that you don't normally find in other restaurants. I had four tongue tacos and my son had a tongue burrito. We loved it!! Most people are scared to venture into something different but it's worth the try! Now, If I could change anything, it would be that the tounge is cooked a little bit on a flat grill for a little extra flavor and that each taco is wrapped with two soft shells instead of one. It will hold better that way and not fall apart so easily but I still loved them. My sons burrito looked amazing and he was happy with everything they stuffed in it. We ordered also some pork tamales which were delicious and their natural melon juice that was also delicious and perfect refreshment. The location has about 40 chairs but an extra room to open up more space if needed. Very clean and well decorated, pricing was great and the staff was superb! I was told that they open as early as 5:30am to serve breakfast and close late also. Many blessings their restaurant and we will definitely be dinning...
Read morePretty disappointed on what I ate not to mention times I've gone they're close even though it has said they open on weekends, last time it said they're low on staff so didn't open. The time I finally made it to try it out well it was a very disappointing experience, from the server who seem to have just woken up and no humor of really being there . To the food where the tortillas are cold , the asada looked like it was boiled , the cut of the onions were so big its ridiculous. Salsas were so water down, had no flavor they had the never to cover the old date it had and just put another on top, can see the bottom hasn't been properly cleaned. The guacamole seem like it was done on the spot just squashed by hand added the ingredients but no salt or lime. The breakfast chorizo was over cooked , rice seemed old and reheated through microwave. Will Def not recommend anyone to eat here , for 2 breakfast plates ,2 orchata waters side of guacamole and 3 tacos almost 37 dollars. Def not worth...
