T&L's Java Joint Drive-Thru — Restaurant in Davenport

I usually like coming here, but I just came on a busy morning and when I finally got to the window nobody was there. I waited for a second before I pulled up to the second window, because a lot of places do that when they’re busy, and the lady said “we actually take the orders back there” pretty mean (which I know, which is why I waited.) and I replied “oh I know, I’m sorry I just waited there for a second and nobody came” and she very rudely said “yea that’s cause we were serving them”. The situation itself is very understandable, I did pull up when I wasn’t supposed to, my bad, but I would’ve pulled all the way back around just to order at the first window, if she was nicer. I was in absolutely no rush and there was nothing friendly about the interaction that I had with the owner. Went to Java Joint yesterday and got there a little after 2. After waiting in line for 10 minutes I approached the window and was rudely told I wasnt getting service. Apparently the car directly in front of me was the cut off. It was 2:14 and that very same day the hours changed and they closed at 2. I had no idea of this change or I wouldn't have came. I do agree it is very rude to go to a place at closing time, however I simply wasnt aware. And it could have been handled much differently. The owner was beyond rude. I went for the 1st time about a week and a half ago and have gone almost everyday since. This place is amazing! The staff are amazing and the selections are awesome! I love that they were able to make every drink that I had ordered decaffeinated and with no espresso. It gives me headaches. And it still tastes amazing! I also heard that they are going to be opening a ice cream store across the parking lot. I can't wait! I only have one suggestion.......can you put up something for some shade while we wait on the walk-up side of the...
