Hy-Vee Market Grille — Restaurant in Davenport

If this was a bar, it would be tops in the QCA. The burgers are by far better than any establishment I've been to locally. The rest is nice..........except,

The atmosphere is that of an employee break room. Service is not by waiters/waitresses but by grocery store employees. They are friendly, but it shows. Especially when ordering at the door. With the "floral line two" on the PA system in the background you can't get in the mood to watch a game like they promote.

The best part is your wife sees you spent money at a grocery store in your debit card, and you got served cold beer and a truly awesome burger (boneless wings are horrible fyi, they are the sweet and sour chicken nuggets from the Asian food department with hot sauce on them. I feel for a special. Never again, just...

Highly disappointed in our food tonight at the market grille at hyvee locust. My son order the bacon cheeseburger and I order the grilled chicken w pepperjack cheese and tater tots. 40 mins later food was came out..bacon burnt to cardboard, no cheese on my grilled chicken, Sam's bun was so soggy it was falling apart, the tater tots were burnt. Disappointing...
