Islanders Jerk — Restaurant in Davie

This is the most authentic Jerk center ive been to in Florida. Tastes almost exactly like what Jerk Chicken tastes like from street vendors in Jamaica. The fritters are probably the best fritters ive had ever. Sweet but more soft than what you generally get in Jamaica. Really the only thing missing is the hint of Pimento smoke, but thats an expensive wood to get here in the US.

They have fresh blended juices as well.

Definitely try this spot out. The jerk sauce is also fire and should be bottled (though I prefer spicier this is completely unique)

This is a food truck kinda vibe not the best looking on the outside, but don't let that stop you from having the best jerk chicken in broward thus far. I was craving jerk Chicken so i googled and saw the reviews and let me tell u I'm not easily impressed with these fake wanna be jerk anything in Florida. but this is authentic, just like back home. What I really appreciated was it didn't taste n look like the typical huge hormonal chicken that lots of restaurants uses, and this was seasoned to the bone. First time customer will now be a regular. I wanna try the jerk pork and festival next....
