Updated review as you can see things have definitely change since my last review: As you can see I had to update my review cause I am highly disappointed because I visit this place often. A few weeks ago I celebrated my birthday here didn't complain they were extremely short it took forever to get our food and it was pretty busy on a Tuesday night so I didn't complain the drinks were good. The food is always OK. Decided to come back to celebrate my mother-n-law birthday party of ten. All those that ordered chicken noticed a funny, rank taste with the meat. Management assured us the meat was fresh and brought out a bowl with samples which still tasted somewhat the same. Refusing to recook the entire meal he also brought out steak samples. I dont know if it was the seasoning or what, but the chicken still tasted fouled. Refusing to prepare another dish, we ordered more food cause we were hungry with shrimp, not wanting to ruin the night for the birthday girl. Sometimes you have to value your customers opinion and recognize everyone is not trying to get over. I feel like if we had been a table of another race we would have gotten our meals replaced no problem. We were a table of professionals that didnt want to ruin the moment for someone celebrating 66 years. Paid for three meals two that we couldnt eat in fear of geting sick. You lost a good, loyal customer that has been supporting you since the doors open. I will miss my favorite mamarita dip, but I will not be returning to this establishment.
Food is fresh and love the drinks! They put a fresh twist on a top shelf margarita. Love...
Read moreI went here for dinner. The chips were fresh and the salsa was too sweet for me. I ordered the Mexican calamari for an appetizer. It was cold when I received it and overcooked because it was too chewy. I did not like the thousand island type sauce it was served with. I prefer horseradish or cocktail sauce. I ordered 3 shrimp tacos for dinner. The tacos were good. The tacos would of been better if I had some salsa that wasn't so sweet. I sat outside and the TV was playing old, sad country songs. I changed it to something more upbeat than the depressing country music and the guy came back out there and changed it back to the sad country music. A Mexican restaurant is not a place to play that type of music in my opinion. I also noticed that the other tables and chairs was covered in yellow pollen. The employees could of took the time to...
Read moreThe Fresh Lime Margarita was excellent! Perhaps one of the best that I've had in the U.S. Unfortunately we were having so much fun, I completely forgot to take any photos of our food once it arrived. The fresh guacamole was very tasty and chunky rather than pureed into a paste - in other words - authentic. Chips and salsa were plentiful and good. As there were 10+ in our party, we had a wide range of items from the menu (from appetizers, to ala carte to entrees). Everyone seemed very pleased. The Mexican Chicken Egg Rolls are a must try! The staff did a great job accommodating all of us and ensuring that we had an enjoyable dining experience - despite an obvious staff shortage (like almost every other business) but those that were working were busting...
