Kenny's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Dayton

This is without a doubt the best bar and grill anywhere around this area. My family and I have known the family forever and we very much consider them friends/family. This bar and grill has been a big part of Dayton TN History FOREVER and they serve the best food anywhere around, especially their Hot Dogs/Chili Dogs... Simply The Best. This is a great family that I am proud to say that I know. My Dad Used To come here and play music All the time before he passed away. Like I said we have known this family most of my life and they are great people. STOP by Kenny's Bar And Grill At Anytime and you will know what I am talking about. Great Family, Great Food And Overall, a Great place to go to have a great time and forget about all the worries and headaches of Everyday life. Best hotdog in the southeast. I would give them a 5 except for the smoke. They would have a lot more people like me as regular customers, but the cigarette smoke makes me sick. I have to get mine as carryout, and you can smell the smoke on the bags. Fantastic 🍔 cheeseburgers, chicken, onion rings, tater tots, all the best items that you can get at a "greasy spoon." They have some of the best food in town, but they are really famous for those chili dogs that just seem to melt it your mouth. Great people, friendly. Go out of their way to make you happy. They have a full service bar in there now, so I assume you can have a variety of beers and cocktails as well. I suppose if you are among the minority of the population and you smoke, or you don't mind smelling like you do, then Kenny's is a fantastic place for you. I really wish it was for the majority of the population, and the hard-core smokers could go outside. They'd have to expand the place (which would be very, very difficult considering it's location). I had the BLT which precisely hit the spot. The onion rings were fabulous and tater tots were solid. Hubby wasn't a huge fan of the chili cheese dog - the dog itself wasn't apparently super high quality brand (that's his jam so I trust his judgment). I wasn't a huge fan of the milkshake but it was decent.

If you can't handle smoke, don't eat in. It's a 21+ establishment so they allow smoking and I know that turns some people off but the food and price makes it well worth picking up at the window or eating outside when weather allows.
