Wow where to begin!! Starting off I walked in and felt like was walking on the red carpet. Amazing customer service. The workers were asking me how was my day and I said was rough up until I walked in. I told them it’s my first time here and I was starving. Let me tell you one thing, they got me right. We will save it towards the end. So I was like what’s the best bowl they said, the spicy chicken is the top bowl. I was like what’s on it they said spicy hummus I was like wait did you say spicy hummus let me get they ASAP. They spread it on the bowl with the right amount got the white rice that was soft and amazing. Got the sharpest knife and cut the chicken like it was 🧈. They put the lettuce, cucumber, sweet peppers, jalapeños, cherry tomatoes, and Kalamata olives. Let me tell you something the veggies were fresh amazing and WOW. Than here comes the best part the chipotle ranch. JUST WOW that bowl right there hit the spot. So if your every hungry want fresh veggies ALWAYS FRESH NEVER FROZEN MEAT and the best customer service come to Bowl appetit. The owners were both there and I haven’t met them a day in my life while I was sitting down they came and sat and ate with me. After I ate and left I came back 3 hours later had a nice gym workout and I see the new BODY BUILDER BOWL. Don’t even get me started on how much protein it has. All I got to say if you are in the gym everyday and you want to eat a lot of protein better believe that the body builder bowl is where it’s at. I’ve ordered from this place a few times. Each time there has always been some issue, the food is never done on time or they mess up some crucial part of the order. It’s my mistake for continuing to give them another chance. I placed an order online almost forty minutes early so that my food would be done on time. I arrived and they told me that they couldn’t find the check for my order yet I got charged. After some searching, my order was on the screen they just missed it. I wanted to cancel my order, but the guy had already started making it. No apology for the delay or completely ignoring my order. When I went to eat, my bowl was wrong- they put quinoa instead of rice. Again this is typical. I took a bite and found hair in my food. I called them only to get sent to voicemail twice and another put on hold then hung up on. On my fourth try a girl answered and I explained that I wanted a refund. She said I would have to bring the bowl back (it was in the trash at this point) and she’s not authorized to do anything else. She gave my contact information to the manager, but I genuinely don’t understand how this place has good reviews. My family and I have ordered from BA several times and have never really had a good experience, despite trying to give it “one more shot”. This past week I placed a phone order for a veggie bowl and was told their fryer was down so they couldn’t make falafel. I requested chicken. My brother picked up the food and once it arrived to me I realized there were no beets, no pita chips, of course no falafel as mentioned and just an overall skimpy bowl. Once I noticed all of that was missing I called the restaurant and was told they were out of beets and pita.. on top of the falafel. I asked why they wouldn’t have mentioned this when I called and placed the order he said it doesn’t change the price of the bowl. Regardless, I was ordering ALL of the toppings for the bowl. Not just a few. I requested a new free bowl and he said he had to call his manager. His manager stated because it was a veggie bowl he could not offer to make a free bowl. How does this make sense?? Beats me. Either way… my family and I will definitely not be ordering from this establishment again.
