The Ananas Cafe — Restaurant in Dearborn

Horrible horrible food. This is probably the worst restaurant I’ve ordered from. We got shawarma and kebabs but the food was so hard and dry to the point you can crush it and it would become a powder consistency. Not to mention, it was bland too. I don’t know if it was just our meal or if it’s like this in general but I’m never ordering here again. I’m positive the food was old too, like it was just reheated from the day before. I’ve been eating and cooking Mediterranean food my entire life and this ain’t it. 0 stars if I could rate it. I spent over $40 for 2 simple boxes of food that they call a part of their “platter.” Even the salad was old and soggy but at least the curly fries were the only good thing. I had a pick up order that was ready on the counter. I walked behind one person and there was one person dining in. The single employee working immediately helped out the first person who walked in. Then went and continued making the food for the dine in person. He finished making the dine in food and then kept looking at me and then went to make that other persons who food who walked in front of me. After completing that persons food he looked at me and finally asked. He can’t multitask or is just dumb it is not busy he had one sandwich to make and my order is ready. Awful service. I came into the restaurant with my daughter it was empty and the man was on the phone taking an order. We waited patiently decided what we wanted and the cook ignored us and kept cooking. Figured he was just too busy filling orders so we just waited. A man came into the restaurant and instantly the cook acknowledged the man and asked if he had already placed an order or not! I was shocked because me and my daughter had been standing at the counter for at least 7 minutes and he didn't say a word to us at all. No may I help you no wait a minute!
