Sky Crepe Cafe — Restaurant in Dearborn

I agree with this place being a hit or miss. I usually order the signature salad with shrimp to go along with a side of large fries. Lately it's been constantly a miss however. This is the second time I order a large fries and they are soggy by the time I get them because they don't know how to properly let them ventilate so the steam doesn't trap. I picked up my order through drive thru just to hand the fries back to her and tell her these are dripping water from how soggy they were. The owner comes to the window and tells me what do you want me to do for you? I said well I don't want to pay for soggy fries. I also tell him that this is the second time and they always shut the to go box over the fries and tie the bag closed which is what's causing the steam to trap and make them soggy and he actually had the nerve to tell me that the to go box has ventilation on it from those tiny baby holes they have at the top. Which anyone with common sense would know if you proceed to put it in a plastic bag and tie the bag closed it would still trap the steam anyways. This guy was more worried about the $8 I paid for the large fries and arguing with me about something he's so wrong about rather than making things right. Food was good, customer service was HORRIBLE! Our waiter didn't know the menu when asked questions about it. When we ordered, he placed the order wrong several times and then blamed the kitchen using very explicit words then comes back and told us the kitchen made it right and we never ordered it that way. This happened 3 different times for three different items. At the end of the order he got in a verbal argument with me over our dessert crepes, we ordered a strawberry cheesecake one that we wanted bananas added to it. Well we got a plain cheesecake one. It was good and he never came back until we ate it. We already was there for 2 hours because of how slow it was we just wanted to leave at that point. I pointed it out and he got defensive with me saying they were there he saw them. Then asked how I wanted to pay, and I asked for the bill. He wouldn't give me a printed copy but told me how much it was. Everything was charged wrong. They added $1 for tater tots but the menu says included with the meal. They added another dessert we didn't order. But worse they added 18% gratuity without our consent. When asked they told us it was state law with a party of 4.
