Coffee Connection — Restaurant in Decatur

Every time I come here I am always so pleased with the service and the products. I rarely go anywhere for an espresso when I am in Decatur. It isn't too sweet like some places. I help run a small cafe' with our own recipes and menu apart from the big chains and they really do know their coffee. Espresso is a science. So many variables and outcomes. I never have to worry about what I get here. It's like I made it myself, just like I like it! I watched this business start and have continued to watch it grow. It's locally owned and I know that you truly have to love what you do to own and operate your own business. It's obvious that this place is here to stay! I do wish that she would expand out south! Coffee Connection has been my favorite local coffee place for almost a decade now. I will sometimes try different drinks but I usually stick with my go to all year long. Lately, some of the newer baristas have not made my drink well. We live across town near Mt. Zion and it's been so disappointing the last few times we've ordered. My drink now mostly tastes like milk, with the espresso and Chai flavors barely there. I absolutely hate to leave a negative review, but our once a week treat may have to come to an end. Literally one of my favorite coffee shops! I go here every chance I get. Their iced white on white is absolutely delicious especially with pumpkin spice or peanut butter added! The baristas are all super friendly! I am really appreciative of their service as the coffee I got yesterday did nit taste good, most likely not their fault just tried a new deink and guess I dont like it.
