I would just like to call out the Store Manager at the Brettwood Village location for going above and beyond in a difficult situation. We had ordered a cake to be ready at 9am and come to find out it was never made. The employee in the deli tried to help find it but ultimately called the Store Manager to assist. The Manager called other local Krogers to see if they could accommodate making the cake we ordered with no luck. She still didn't give up, your amazing Manager iced a cake herself and made sure my 7 year old got a marble whippy cake as requested. While not the cake we ordered, she did everything possible to fix this for us and we are very grateful to her for doing everything possible to fix this in a short amount of time. Yeah they have way too many self checkouts but I don't work here and refuse to use them as should most people. The self checkout is a pain to use because most of the time is doesn't recognize when you put your item in the bag and you have to wait an excuseratingly long time between item scans. I'd rather wait in one of the two lanes that are typically open and have lines so long that they block almost all of the main front aisle. But who cares when you can increase corporate profits for millionaires at the expense of the lower and middle...
