Had a custom ring commissioned here. When we first came in with the idea the "jeweler" said it wouldnt be a problem and that he could do this exact design. It took over 6 months to complete. The ring was done less than a week before Christmas. The ring was unsymeterical in 3 different areas. When we pointed out the OBVIOUS mistakes, the "jeweler" would act like it wasn't there. Then after having to invovle other workers and patrons to make my statements more clear, then he'd sigh loudly and said he'd fix it. He didnt. It was still off. His response was "if you want it perfect, have a machine do it". This same synerio happen 2 more times with different problems, until he finally gave up and gave us our money back. I slso noticed during his childish behavior that his hands shaking uncontrollably. This was probably the cause for his inability to do his job. I would imagine, due to his attitude, that even if he was doing something where his shaky hands could be a benefit him. Like giving HJ's in an alley on Edward St. Hed only mess it up. I had an older ring I wanted updated into a new piece I would wear instead of one sitting in a drawer. I went in to E Ryan’s with an idea of what I wanted. They helped me pick out a few designs which were along the lines of what I wanted. They proceeded to order in several mountings which allowed me to see what each mounting would look like before I selected the one I wanted to purchase. The main diamond in my wedding set fell out. I also had another ring that I had lost a marquis baguette out of ten years ago.

I priced at a national chain and they quoted $399 for the wedding set and $230 for the missing baguette.

I went to eRyan for a second quote and they not only did what the retail chain quoted on, but also upsized the ring with the missing baguette a full size, all for $40 LESS than the national chain quoted for the wedding set.
