I had given this location 3 stars at one point cause it seems like Everytime I went in there on lunch at work (2300ish) it would take 20to 30 mins of my 30 min lunch to get it but I always got it and it was hot and usually what I ordered(still way better than spring city) and the staff has always been friendly but recently I'm the last 6 months I have had a recurring problem out of a manager that's new who I'm told came from burger king. My work gets a 10% discount on our orders well this lady tries to make me feel bad for requesting my discount mind you I go to McDonald's instead of Hardee's because of this discount and eat 3rd rate burgers and she wants to make me feel bad for a .40 to 1 discount tonight was the last straw she rings me up ignores my work shirt and walks off didn't ask if it was cash or card nothing so I wait patiently now mind you my total was 4.78 and I had about 4.35 on my card so cutting it close and without the discount I ain't got enough so she bags my food and comes back and I ask did the total include my discount?(I know it didn't cause I order the same thing every time) she said no did you already slide your card ? Read moreI recently redeemed a reward for a McCafé beverage, only to be informed that they couldn’t make it. When I requested credit for the item, I was told that the store wasn’t responsible for anything done in the McDonald’s app. Fascinating, since I assumed McDonald’s might actually be accountable for, you know, their own app.
The person at the window, clearly aspiring to break some kind of record for rudeness, told me I’d have to call customer service to sort it out. There was a lot of drama, complete with a total lack of responsibility. After some back and forth, a manager eventually said they’d "remember me" and give me the drink when the machine was working again. Spoiler alert: I haven’t returned.
The attitude and excuses were something to behold. But on reflection, maybe the incompetent and rude staff are doing everyone a favor by making the decision to not put this junk in our bodies a little easier. Kudos to the team for their innovative approach to driving away business through what could be considered a masterclass in poor customer service. And to the girl at the window: I hope you found that burst of energy from yelling at me to be as fulfilling as the job that inspires it. Some say she’s still trying to catch her breath...
Read moreWent to this McDonald's this morning ..after 3 times of the woman not getting my order right on the menu screen I managed to pull forward...she went to hand me my order and I said M'am you forgot my decaf coffee..she said oh I'm gonna have to brew it you will have to pull over in space 2...(now mind you I told her repeatedly at the speaker DECAF COFFEE...On 3 different occasions I told her DECAF coffee...) I expressed that my food was going to get cold ...over 10 minutes went by so I drove back around and told her on the speaker I had been waiting 10 minutes for my coffee she said she would bring it out now...she comes out with 2 cups..I said no I only wanted 1 cup ...she turned to walk away and I said I would definitely be making a complaint ..she said for me to "GO FOR IT" needless to say I got to where I was going and my food was ice cold ...not to mention if you buy a side of bacon 🥓 you get one slice ...its a shame I've been going to that McDonald's since the day it opened ...I think as of this morning HARDEE'S has...
