Horrible customer service here. I ordered delivery about a week ago. My husband was the one that met the driver outside when they arrived. He didn't know what all I ordered so he didn't realize that we were missing several extra cups of sauces that we paid for & a 2 liter drink. Only a few minutes had passed since the driver left so I called the restaurant to see if they could contact the driver so he could bring us the rest of our order. The woman I spoke to on the phone was absolutely NO help. She kept asking us to describe the driver in more detail, but we only knew that it was a white male in a white or light colored vehicle. She said they only had a handful of drivers, but she couldn't figure out which one it was from our description. I asked her if she could call the drivers to figure out which one it could have been, but apparently that was too much to ask for. Then she just stayed quiet on the phone without offering any way to make things right. I asked if she could send another person out with our missing items. She hesitated at first, but finally agreed. Then she told me it would be "a while" before anyone could get out to us. Several hours later they closed for the night & no one had brought us our items.
I get it, mistakes happen. But I expect places to make these things right one way or another. If there was no way to get anyone back out to us that night then she could have said that & offered to make things right the next day or whatever. Thinking back on the conversation, it was clear that she wasn't worried about making it right at all. She ignored my request to contact her drivers to figure out who had come to our house & might still have our missing stuff in their vehicle. Then she just stayed silent on the phone instead of offering solutions.. as if we should just call it a loss cause she didn't feel like fixing...

I ordered through the app and was told my pizza was ready, but when I got there, I had to wait an extra 10-15 minutes for my order. the employees were nice, however. I ordered a pizza with extra sauce and instead got a pizza with light sauce.. called the store and the manager was rude AF, didn’t announce her name nor gave a proper greeting when she answered the phone. I explained the issue with my order, and I was told in order to get a replacement no slices could be missing-unrealistic, yet understandable as most restaurants have similar policies-and I would have to come ALL the way back to Decatur today- disgustingly inconvenient. Even after telling her I was extremely ill-though she didn’t have to care- she said that was my only option. She severely lacked consideration and compassion. As high as both Papa John’s and inflation is right now, patrons should receive nothing less than quality food and customer care/service- ESPECIALLY when the establishment causes an issue.

Read moreMy husband made a very large order on Saturday and paid $ 70 for 1 large thin crust pepperoni pizza, 1 large works pizza with the stuffed crust supposed to have extra mushrooms. It didn't. We bought a garlic parmesean breadsticks they were just bread. NO seasoning at all. We threw them away. We ordered jalapeño Pappas we didn't even recieve but DID pay for and a pull apart cinnamon roll bites that were very scrumptipus. The food we did recieve was VERY tasty but the fact that so much was wrong and then I called to see if they would fix it and was put on endless hold. I am not a happy person when I spend that much on ONE meal and get less than what I paid for. I live too far out for delivery from our nearest location so simply going back to get what they forgot takes 20 min one way. I am not sure we will be back soon quality food or not I feel like I was robbed. It is a very strong feeling of dislike in my heart right now for Pappa John's Pizza.
