First time at Toki but have been to other hibachi bars around area. Very upset hibachi chef did not interact with full table. Only did the volcano, no saki or egg/veggie toss. The family that was at our table had a birthday the chef didn't even ask. Noodles had no flavor, rice wasn't cooked all the way. Got the steak and never got veggies. When we ordered I had told the waiter 2 stk hibachi with rice and we also wanted noodles. Then stated that we needed the veggies cooked a little longer. I also told the waiter. I have a shellfish allergy, which if the rest of the table ordered a lot of shellfish I would move so not to cause a issue. I was told I was okay and he would put everything on my ticket. So when I asked the chef about the veggies he stated it was not on my ticket. So I found a manager and of course it was the servers fault for not entering it correctly into the computer. The manager stated she'd have the veggies cooked in the back. I was so frustrated I took my food home, husband was done eating still no veggies. Got the bill over $78.00 for 2 people for hibachi and we had sodas. I was charged $2.00 for the noodles and $9.90 for veggies I still hadn't gotten. I stated I didn't want the veggies, to take them off since I haven't even gotten them yet. Then the manager gave me the veggies anyway. Just ruined a wonderful day I was having with my husband. The only person to apologize was a waitress and the hostess. That person should not be working as a hibachi chef. Will not be returning. Just a shame, I'll drive the extra miles to the other habachi...
Read moreI went to Toki on April 23 with my 11 year-old daughter. We were celebrating her 11th birthday. When the cook Frank came to the table he was reading off everyone order. When he got to my order, I told him it was incorrect. My daughter ordered three sides of rice with no veggies in it and he asked me. Did you tell the waiter I told him? Yes, he walked away and goes to the waiter and comes back and states that he would just pick out the vegetables. The waiter tried to bring him rice without veggies in it and he said no I already fix it. Don’t let it happen again very rude. He should have not talked to her like she was his child. The waiter handled the situation very professionally. He did not engaged with the customers nor did he tell my child happy birthday he knew it was her birthday because everyone that walked past told her happy birthday and she also had on a sash that said Birthday girl. While Frank was cooking our dinner he also made his self dinner. He put his steak on the grill and cooked it as he cooked our meal that was very unprofessional. He never once may I contact he never once thanked us for our business and he just packed up his card and moved on this was the worst experience that I have had, and we let the waiter know how we was treated and she apologized and made sure she had the other employee thing to...

Nikki was beyond amazing she apologized for his behavior and tried to make everything right. as for me and my kids i think we will pass on eating here. covid might be a thing in the past but that was still...
