Spizy Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Dededo Municipality

We couldn’t figure out what to eat, so we drove into Compadres mall, expecting to eat at a specific restaurant when SO said, “So I heard this place was good. I’ve never been there.” As he points in the direction of a restaurant called “Spizy.” I said, “Ooouuu I’ve never been there either, let’s go there!”

It was a Saturday night and as we entered, we were immediately greeted kindly and shown to a table. At the time, there were only a few other patrons there and it was nice and quiet. It’s a very simple, no frills restaurant. Typical mom and pop shop. The menu has quite a bit of options and we settled on: Char siu pork (appetizer) Fried rice Salt and pepper pork chop

All I can say was that I was pleasantly surprised and I will more than likely be back! I felt that the portion sizes for the prices of each dish was more than generous. I’m kinda picky about char sui pork and I loved it. The pieces were very soft, tender and very flavorful. The salt and pepper pork chop probably had enough to serve three people. I liked that the pieces were cut up a bit smaller. Each bite was full of flavor and came out hot and fresh. The fried rice was yummy and just the way I like it (I don’t like mine oily).

This is a very family friendly establishment…as we were leaving, I checked out the other tables and almost every table had parties of 4+. I’m excited to come back and try...

I have been on Guam for over 60 days visiting family. As family grows older in age I noticed we eat out a lot more than usual when I was younger. I came home for home cooking not eating out ugh I really love Chinese food but I been to this restaurant on this visit over 20 times already. This is my favorite aunt and uncle place to eat. I told them u guys r going to make hate Chinese food when I get back home in the states. There r Plenty regular customers that come here. We always say hello and have great conversation. Very poor customer service 😡 Placed an order for take out when I walked in and was told 20 minutes waiting time for 2 dishes . Was told it would take 20 minutes . But hell no , it was like 30 minutes and was told then that only one person was working in the kitchen . Should have let me know before taking my payment that my order would take forever . Didn’t even offer a free drink like the other restaurants when one is kept waiting for too long . Unacceptable !...
