Chambo’s Italian Deli — Restaurant in Deep River

This place is a frustrating because they have really good food, however I don't understand the pricing. I get the simplicity of having all grinders the same price, but when you order a chicken cutlet parm grinder, why is it the same price as a grinder that has far more ingredients on it? Also, why are the specialty grinders the same price as the regular ones? You have to pay for add ons for the regular grinders, but you can basically get the add ons for free with the specialty grinder. The 6in for $9+ isn't very filling. I would recommend going for the 10in, but if you add chips and a soda you're looking at a 20 dollar lunch.

I have now tried Chambo's twice. I hate to have to degrade my original review but they charged me 16 (with tax) for a 10 in italian combo grinder. The grinder was decent but no way it was worth 16 maybe 12 tops. Good luck to them, but its just not worth it for me to go. Walked in shortly after opening. Small Italian style deli. Got two specialty grinders and some stuffed peppers. Greeted nicely with a smile. The girls who were working there had great energy and made a good funny vibe. Grinders were amazing. To put it in perspective the grinders are 16$ a peace, full of meat and veggies, soft A+ bread and I’m a bread snob. Bread was soft and not soggy or stale whatsoever! 16$ people are saying is a lot for the grinders it’s not. Not for what you get with the quality of ingredients. Last time I went to subway I got a grinder for over 17$ and it looked and tasted sad, depressed and didn’t satisfy the hunger whatsoever. The grinders from here big and hardy, so much so that I still have a hole grinder for leftovers. Two meals for the price of one. I will be back when I get the craving for a great Italian...
