Feijão com Arroz Steakhouse — Restaurant in Deerfield Beach

I have been eating at this restaurant for about 10 years. I drive almost 30 mins from my house to go here because the food is always amazing. But this evening I had a very bad experience with an employee who claimed to be the manager. My husband and I came in for take out plates of mainly meat for our family to eat at home. The guy cutting the meat did not speak English nor understand English. I asked for picanah cooked medium and he proceeded to cut well done pieces of meat. When I realized there was a language barrier I asked the cashier to please tell him that I wanted medium. He gave us the rest of our meat which was cooked medium consisting of picanah, lamb and beef ribs. While I was paying, "the manager" (I called back after I left to get his name. It was Mazcalo) taps me on my shoulder and tells me that I left some meat. When I looked, it was the first piece of well done meat that the chef had cut. I let him know that I didn't want that because it's well done. He continued to argue with me and my husband about buying the well done meat. I refused and he continued heckling us as we left and yelled to us to not come back there again. After the experience that I had, I will NEVER step foot in this place again. There are many other Brazilian restaurants that I can spend my money. And mind you, I spent $70 worth of meat while getting harassed for $5 worth of meat that was not cooked to my liking. You should have a chef or someone near that can communicate with English speaking customers to avoid this food waste. You cannot force customers to pay for food that is incorrect. Haven't tried this place yet but I will one of these days! It smells really good Everytime I walk past!

Ok folks I finally had the opportunity to get food from their buffet and OMW things I've never heard of put the best taste in my mouth that I can imagine they've got everything they usually have stuff like fish beef pork just awesome like potato almost like a cheesy potato casserole home they got Friday Utica then they have salad the red beans different rice and beans and just really awesome stuff just depends when you go what's on the what's on the buffet but in my situation I actually was homeless and hungry and decided to go in and ask them if it was possible to help me with something to eat the owner was absolutely wonderful and assured me that if at any point in time that I was hungry and needed a meal to please come back and let them know that they would never turn away anybody that was hungry just come in and let them know they do not give money to anyone for anything due to the way people take advantage of business owners but I assure you that these people have fed me more than once in every time I was blessed and the food was absolutely wonderful and the music that comes out of there is really awesome so you have to stop and take a look at it...

My daughter and I decided to stop at this restaurant based on the 52 reviews and $$.

The outside and inside could benefit from a make over. But hey, some of these joints can surprise you. The entrance is immediately facing bar which was full of men who seem to have drunk a few to many, really loud. Tv's are nice but restaurant area looks very plain. At $22.99 p/person I expect at least plastic table placemats. We decided to go with the Churrasco w/Chicken for two at $32.99. Not bad right? Plenty of food??? Yes.

BUT .... CHURRASCO looked PRECOOKED and We asked for medium rare and got extra WELL DONE.

Fries were frozen. The yucca pieces were cold, rice room temperature. Chicken had good flavor. Beans were alright. We tried the beef but out was too dry. Very Disappointed!

Server was very nice at taking order but didn't see her again until BILL time. Gratuity was already included. She asked about the meal. She could see all the beef was practically there. Showed her the meat. No option was given to exchange. $55 tab for frozen, precooked meall, 1 soda and no appetizers or bread.
