3 years ago I left a review as a unsatisfied customer because Ive been there multiple times where I’ve placed my order gave them an extra 20mins to 40mins wait time on top of the time they’ve mentioned to me and for them to STILL not have it ready or misplace my order. After 3 years I thought maybe I will give them another chance. Placed my order and was told it would be ready within 20-30mins. After an hour I paid for an round trip service with Uber to pick me up, get my meal, and drop me back home. Uber only waits for you about 3 minutes before they leave you. When I got there, I was waiting over 10 minutes when I felt bad and told my Uber to just go ahead and leave! I waited exactly 17 minutes until I received my order. RC Caribbean Restaurant, 3760 NE Third Ave., Pompano Beach was closed Nov. 17 after an inspector observed violations that included: A stop sale order was issued for 20 items, including legumes, rice, goat, beef, tuna, garlic in oil, cooked okra, chicken, turkey wings and other items because of improper temperature controls; raw chicken was in contact with raw beef; an employee failed to wash hands before changing gloves/putting on gloves to work with food; ‘thank you’ bags were used to store chicken wings; about 230 rodent droppings were seen; Raid household pesticide was present in the establishment; the manager lacked proof of food manager certification and there was no proof that required, state-approved training had been provided for any employees. Been there twice and walked out with no food both times. Staff is very unprofessional, they stand in the back talking and laughing, while customers wait for up to an hour (30 minutes after placing their order on the phone and another 30 minutes in the restaurant) with bags of food lined up on the table but no customers receiving their food. I will NEVER EVER go back there again, I don't care how good their food is. One lady requested a refund after waiting for an hour after she was told it will be ready in 30 minutes.
