I'm with others. If I could leave a 0, I would!! I have never ever experienced such rudeness at a fast food restaurant in all my life!! I ordered at one of the drive up kiosks and when the girl came on the speaker I could barely hear her and she obviously couldn't hear me. I had to tell her more than once that I couldn't hear her and by the third time I hollered it. She thought I was being rude and immediately had an extremely bad attitude towards me. I'm trying to order and I can't hear her. She then raised her voice as loud as she could and told me something had happened to her voice. I continue trying to hear her and I believe she had trouble at times hearing me. When I repeated myself she just got ruder and ruder to the point of doing her best to yell at me over the speaker. I told them I wanted corporate's number when they brought out my food. When the girl serving the food came out, she too had an attitude. She handed me my food, and gave me the general manager's phone number. I told her I was afraid to accept the food and she assured me nothing was wrong with it. She grabbed the money from my hand and walked away, not bothering to give me my change. As she's walking away she's cussing me out. I go into the entrance of the building and told them I didn't appreciate the way I was treated. The girl that took my order and I argued back and forth. She said I was rude first because I yelled at her over the speaker. I tried to explain to her she couldn't hear me and that's why I yelled info over the speaker. She just continued to get more irrate and threatened to call the cops. I told her fine, I will be more than happy to wait for them. As I was going outside, she followed me and told me she was going to take down my license plate number for the police. I said fine. Then she stopped on the sidewalk and told me she got beat up by her boyfriend the night before and that's why she couldn't hardly talk. I told her I was very sorry that she had to go through something like that but it was no reason for her and her staff to be so rude and nasty to me because I yelled over a speaker so she could hear me. I told her she needs to be courteous to customers. She argued about that with me, hollering in my face still! I told her I would remain in my vehicle waiting for the police. She said she wasn't calling them, turned around and went back in the restaurant. I sure wish I would have made them take the food back because when I got it home to my son, I saw how poorly it was prepared. The chicken was overcooked on the outside and undercooked on the inside. Everyone! Do yourself a favor! Drive on right on past Sonic and stop at one of the other restaurants that are all around it! They need to fire the whole crew, rehire, because they continue to one bad review after another and nothing...

Came again this evening, same gal working. Doing everything, I noted to my husband as we waited at the window how bad I felt for her having to do everything because they were so short staffed. Unfortunately our slushy drinks this evening were completely wrong, undrinkable because the syrup was pumped at into the cup first and not enough syrup was added to even mix into the drink. I went to the door, to just ask if my drinks I paid for could be fixed. I even let the young man who met me at the door... know I was happy to wait a bit because of how busy they were. The lady came out shortly later, and yelled at me - letting me know the drinks were not made wrong. When in fact you could see the white icee part only. She then let me know she's been doing this for 14 years. And I was absolutely wrong in stating they were made wrong. I said; ma'am, I didn't mind waiting I know your under staffed and mistakes happen when you are in a hurry. I can wait. She yelled at me again. Clearly overwhelmed and frustrated at being understaffed. I feel bad for her. I hate that companies make it the employees problem that they're understaffed. And then in turn the employees take their frustrations out on the costumers.
I hope the lady that yelled at me over slushies, know I understand her frustration, and the fact that she was overwhelmed and had an extreme workload. But just because you are frustrated doesn't give you the right to yell at...
Read moreHands down the worst sonic I've ever been to. 1. It's understaffed so the food is always like half done and sloppy af. I would be suprised if they have more than 3 people who work there. They are always out of food. Today they only had drinks available. Last time I went I got a tea and it was rancid. 3. They only pay like 11.25 when taco bell and mcd are paying 15. It's no wonder the whole establishment is a sinking ship. It would be best to just shut it down all together when you consider the lack of personell, the quality of food they serve and the about of time it takes to even recieve your order (roughly 45 minutes each time I've gone). It makes me sad because I absolutely love sonic and when I moved here I was thrilled to have one so close and its been a huge disappointment. I dont usually leave review when places suck because I get it, things happen, understaffed etc.. but its been a year of non stop problems for the Landen OH sonic.
Wow it's been like 4 years and I went went back. It was awful. At the ordering I should have just known but I went for it. I had to repeat my order turee times, I get to the window and they read it back incorrectly. She asks if I want my ice cream slush blended lol. I get my food and drinks, get home. My drink cup has a bite out of the top by the lid so it was spilling in my car the drive home.
