Yesterday I visited your Dekalb location and I had a terrible experience and felt taken advantage of. One of your employees made me 2 mangoneadas, an elotes in the cup and mixed fruit and placed all items on the tall ice cream counter while I handed her my credit card. She told me I would have to pay by the cash register so while trying to grab everything the mixed fruit fell on the ground. It fell straight down so only a few mangos fell out. I closed the lid and walked with it to the register planning to pay for it and take it. While waiting in line the same employee (without saying any words) handed me a new mixed fruit and took the old one from my hands and threw it in the trash. While ringing up my order I heard another employee ask a senior employee ‘dos?’ in Spanish so I became a little suspicious but decided to give your employees the benefit of the doubt since I did have ‘dos’ mangoneadas. I asked for a receipt so I can check myself without accusing your employees for charging me twice for some mixed fruit that I didn’t ask them to remake. Of course I get handed a non itemized receipt that’s just a credit card transaction receipt so I asked if I got charged twice for the mixed fruit. They said yes, it is the store policy for them to charge twice if an item is remade. I told them their policy doesn’t make sense because I didn’t ask them to remake my fruit. Also they didn’t communicate to me or ask me if I would like a new mixed fruit for an additional charge. If they had used their words to ask me if I would like a new fruit I would have declined and happily taken the first fruit. While I was trying to get my point across and get my money back for the additional fruit dish and nice gentlemen waiting in line behind me added in and agreed that the employees had not communicated anything with me and were going to change me twice without even letting me know. Then the employee who charged me (again without saying anything) opens the register and hands me 5 dollars cash and some change and just put it in my hand. I told the employees they had terrible communication and they just kept telling me it was the owners policy and not theirs. Read moreDon’t go when the older lady or the girl with glasses are working. I’ve been here 5 times and I received excellent customer service when they aren’t there. These two are snobby and rude and the older lady will blow you off and cut the portion size of what you order. Then she leaves what you bought on the counter and hides in the back… With the girl with glasses… I ordered a Mango Preparado it’s not even filled to the top. There’s hardly any fruit, the cup is filled with ice, so much so it’s popping out over the drink. Like I said this place can be really good. Just avoid these two if you actually want...

They make a lot of their ice cream on site and use fresh ingredients. It really shows in the taste! They have ice cream, sorbet, popsicles and make different desserts from those things as well. Prices are fair and the inside is clean.
It's located a bit out of the way, in a big field, but at least it has a parking lot, not really adjacent to anything. But that doesn't bother me. All in all, probably the best place to grab something sweet and...
