The food was really good. The drinks were delicious. But man. They really dropped the ball everywhere else. The worst part of it all was Justin behind the counter, who talked to a friend at the bar nonstop through our whole dinner about how terrible it was to work there and how awful the rest of the staff was. He mentioned specific names, incidents, and badmouthed everyone he could think of, it seemed. And when he tired of that, he started talking snotty about other restaurants in town, spreading their drama, etc.
It didn’t inspire confidence in the restaurant, the staff, or the atmosphere.
Otherwise, the overhead music played ONE SONG on repeat the whole time we were there. What the heck is that about? By about the seventh time I heard it I wanted to jam a skewer in my ear.
Our waitstaff was wonderful, made recommendations, and was pleasant. Justin just ruined the whole experience for us. If I wanted to hear someone complain for an hour about their job, I’d call my mother.

Read moreI didn't order much because their vegan options are very limited; there are a couple of vegetarian options. The french fries were thin and very soggy. They were loaded with salt and what seemed like a pre-packaged seasoning mix with garlic powder. The babaganoush was very light in color (typically darkened a bit from roasting), but this was very light in color and tasted like liquid smoke had been added to it instead of roasting, I don't know if that's the case. It was very chunky; by texture and taste, it seemed itblacked tahini and lemon, or had very little. Perhaps this restaurant is meant for omnivores and that those selections might be better, but I cannot speak to that first hand. There appears to be a number of wines in their selection. The interior is nicely appointed, creating a...
Read moreA nice option for this area which I'm new to for sure. I grew up eating at Greek restaurants like Greek Islands and Costas so a bit spoiled. The food was good but not great. Saganaki was nice...the side of potatoes were nice too....the salmon wrap was dry and a bit too stuffed with stuff that made it a bit much for me sometimes I guess less is more. I may have ordered the wrong salmon dish possibly too. My friend ordered the Greek pasta and he enjoyed it. Support local and try definitely worth a go like any restaurant. Prices are higher than Greek Islands for my example I'm used to and seems steep for Dekalb and a college town but just my thoughts. $28 for a shrimp pasta dish is a lot for...
