Taco Factory — Restaurant in Delano

Hopefully this will be for constructive criticism, so they can improve. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this isn’t the place, but if you’re looking for more california style food, that would be more accurate. However the couple of burritos we ordered were not very full, the flavor is not very flavorful, but the staff was nice. The tostada shell was nice and crispy, very yummy, but the ground beef was granular in texture, flavorless, and not very good quality. I was hoping it would be great, but not so much.

Fresher better quality ground beef and some seasoning would go a long way. Maybe do a few different versions and do a day where people do a blind taste test to...

Whenever we're in Delano, we stop and get a quart of Chile Verde and a quart of rice to go. The best! Update 2/21/24 We came here for the first time in a couple of years. Ordered the chili verde dinner and the relleno dinner. Both dinner’s portions were huge! My relleno was very good, maybe too much sauce though. My wife’s chili verde was excellent, maybe even better than before. The rice is very good as always and the beans are better than before. It’s still the same family, now the grandchildren run it. I have to say we've been eating at Taco Factory for at least 30 years for many reasons. First, this is a very friendly, family owned restaurant located in Delano with easy access off 99 via Cecil Ave. The food is amazing, and some of our favorites include the chili rellanos burrito, the enchiladas with rice and beans and my personal favorite....the chips and cheese. My husband loves the chili Verde, but it's a bit spicy for me although the flavor is spot on. Its a small but mighty little place and you can call ahead...
